I always said that Cartier watches were for women.... that they were cheap and stupid to have... but I just recently bought one from Joshua and its on its way!! Updated version of Santos 100 with correctly spaced "swiss made" and proper deployant SS model.

Wow. He was actually quite calm and polite in that interview... I guess he took his medications that day

Sorry - I disagree! I purchased the blue version and I absolutely love it. Definitely no contest, the sparkly blue face shines magnificently and is very close to the original.

I have the best sub. And it stays with me.

If I was in your position, and I wish I was, with exactly that amount to spend on one watch, I would get Joshua Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Real Flying Tourbillon. At $598, it is within your price range, and the tourbillon complication is one of the most sought-after and highly-respected modifications you can have on a replica watch. This is, however, no fantasy rep - it is actually a very close copy of the Jules Audemars Classic Collection tourbillon - priced at about $270,000 USD. For another $80, you can get authentic looking box, and papers for the watch. I would definitely buy this watch, but I don't have the dough... I just bought a Cartier Santa

There are lots of Longines dealers... all over the place even in my hick town. Just get a second opinion from another AD.

Whenever I see this watch alone in the pictures I think, "what an ugly duckling... if only they put the hands in their normal positions it might just be bearable." However, to see it on your wrist, my opinion is changed for the positive. I find it now to be agreeable, but I still somewhat dislike the split hour-minute hand combination. I am a tough critic, though, and to be honest I have to say it looks good on you sir. Did you get it from Joshua? -
...did I just get owned by a newbie or what?
-
I agree with you... this website is the second place I go right after checking my e-mail every morning I turn the computer on. I used to be an active member on the other rep sites as well, but I find the atmosphere over here to be a little calmer and kinder. I purchased my first rep almost a year ago, and have caught the bug ever since. RWG is the place to be when it comes to good advice from friendly and knowledgeable people.

It kinda sorta reminds me of a Patek worldtime.
-
I would definitely refrain from this idea, sir.

Could you elaborate on what kind of design you want? SS or gold..? I got mine from Joshua and it is an excellent piece... definitely a high quality item for sure.

Anybody know a source for an MBW Patek Nautillus?

I cannot wait to see what goodies Narikaa comes back with next! -
What does "ROO" actually mean? This question best left untouched by our Australian friends.

Oh yes I too agree that servicing is money in the garbage. I have a thirty five year old Orient that still keeps perfect time... and the Patek worked for a good fifty before dying.

That is a hideous watch. Not even close to a Radiomir.
-
I thought it looked fishy. I've reported it now myself... I think they need several unique sources to take it down. I doubt the average ebay employee will be able to recognize this as fake, though...

Can you please post some pictures of what your PVD quality looks like on a Pam for instance? I never buy anything without a good picture.

One thing that many experts go on is time. Some buyers remark that the time between order and shipment of a supposedly "serviced" watch is unusually quick, meaning that even if they are serviced - it is not a full disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and test as promised. Some have gone so far as to send their "serviced" watches to trained watchsmiths, who inform them that their watches are completely dry and have no oil inside. When I had my submariner "waterproofed," the technician servicing it did not notice that the entire bracelet was covered in disgusting, permanent brown muck. He must have manipulated the watch for quite some time, yet still shipped it with the horrendous damage? More than likely, his oily fingers were responsible for nearly destroying the $120 bracelet. It is difficult for me to believe that these technicians are actually going through with the work. Imagine - they cannot get in trouble if they don't, so responsibility is completely gone. Furthermore, they seem to be oblivious to the most basic and obvious debris and damages when "inspecting" before shipping... this does not really secure them as "honest" people... at least not in my book. Indeed, I would not send the $125 for servicing, knowing that more than likely, it will either; -Not get done at all -Be done, but so poorly that it may have no effect or even the opposite effect to the watch's health -Be done correctly but cause further damage to the exterior of the watch whilst it is being handled with someone's oily fingers. I don't want to sound rude and unappreciative, but I'm just following logic and my own experiences. Different people will have different results I'm sure... but the only way to guarantee a good quality servicing - is to go to a trusted watchsmith and have it done in person. Just my two cents.

140147450822 I am no expert... but this screams fraudulent. It looks like the Casablanca Chrono with a day and date instead of the chrono.... the lack of pictures is also strange. Also it says "chronograph" but it clearly is not. Can anyone help?

Vintage Daytona from Josh. Any connoisseur knows the gens go for tens of thousands...

I am always scared of ordering from him... even though he has a Franck Muller box whose price really can't be beat
