Indeed. The gen has more rounded edges on the middle links and they feel a little bit different when you have the watch in hand. I don't know exactly why... maybe it's those rounded edges or the gen middle links have been machined to more exact measurements. The gen bracelet also feels a little bit lighter. Yes, lighter. I guess you can't quite make the rep bracelet feel exactly like the gen (that silky feel). But with some modifications (polishing, oiling and hand filing the link edges, etc) you can make reps so close that it simply doesn't matter. The SEL fitting is always the biggest problem. WM9 Sub v1 had superb SELs and they fit pretty much perfect on my 16610 v2. I have no idea why George and co. decided to downgrade the SELs to v2. I just don't swallow the "huge color problem" on the reps. It goes to the compulsive-obsessive Twilight Zone territory (imho). But then again maybe we're all there.

The visual difference between Rolex 904 steel and standard steel on reps gets grossly exaggerated in this forum all the time. It's something that only a compulsive-obsessive watch nerd could EVER notice... and only having the watches side-by-side & in the direct strong light exposure. Here's my Chinese Rolex and Swiss Rolex side-by-side. Yes, there is some difference but it's completely meaningless (imho). And it was really tough to find a correct light exposure where I was able to show any difference at all. More I think the quality and sharpness of the bracelet brushed finish makes more difference.

Thanks Dave... you're welcome. Sewing machine oil will stop the "rattling". I always use it on all my rep bracelets. Just pour the oil all over the bracelet links. Let it stay overnight and rinse with water. Good luck.

This beauty today.

I compared the rep and gen here. The differences in bracelet are minimal and the gen Aquaracer has pretty light bracelet as well. I believe this has been done on purpose to reduce overall weight as Aquaracer is a hardcore diver chronograph watch, and we all know how heavy the 7750-based watches are. Not much difference, really. The gen is just better finished overall (no gaps on the SELs, etc.) The usual stuff. The rep compares very well... it's really nice replica. I only bought the gen because I really, really like this model.

Late to the party today guys. Wearing my amazing WM9 Sub v2 with snug v1 SELs.

It's a beauty. Probably my all time favorite diver watch (rep or gen). The white version is a lot different from the black & blue (imho). A real gentleman's version, especially with the strap. Enjoy!

It's a beauty... the biggest improvements are definitely the AR and gen bezel. The pearl is very unique on the PO and it's the weakest link on 4th gen. Congrats!

Hey Ronin, is that a genuine BTR? I'm wearing the WM9 today.

This classic for Sunday.

Wearing my favorite Breitling.

For PES 2010 players, here's a great FIFA World Cup 2010 mod: http://forums.evo-web.co.uk/showthread.php?t=56246 Installed it yesterday and it's really well done.

Cool Ubi! Let's see if this love is going to last. I think it might... it's pretty well sized for you. I'm wearing my black Explorer II.
-
I don't know why people say the crown guards should be "improved"? How can you improve something that are virtually perfect? The v1 cg's had to be modded but they're superb in v2. If something have to be improved, it's the SELs. I have changed to v1 SELs which are superior.
-
Not an expert of these models but it's either genuine or hell of a franken. Congrats anyway.
-
Crown size is perfect on the new batches. It's the vertical position that's off. Crown guards and crystal height are pretty much spot on. Rolex watches don't have AR. What's wrong with the insert?
-
Amazing! I'm aware that the replica is really good, but I'm still thinking the gen all the time. If it's a nice enough watch model... why not? Nothing beats the gen.
-
Yeah it'd be cool. But then again who really cares how the movement looks like? It's pretty sad picture to imagine someone carrying the Bergeon tools in his pocket (just in case) and opening the caseback everytime when someone asks the magic question "Is it real?"
-
Looks to be the same old "Ultimate" GMTIIc. Maybe just with a new Rolex-style movement?

I gotta admit that I have never heard of this supplement. It's not impossible that the science could develop something that actually works. But if we look at the history, well.. there are many "revolutionary" supplements that were supposed to work. Most of the supplement stuff is just like the 31-jewel Swiss Rolex replicas... total scam directed at gullible and ignorant people. Let's see what we've had in the past decades... Liver tabs Amino acid pills (bunch of shit. I don't even want to go there...) Creatine (only supplement that actually gave some results but they were temporary and minimal) etc. Building a muscle is about maximizing the anabolic effects in your body (and minimizing the catabolic) while increasing the protein synthetis and reducing/keeping the cortisol levels at minimum. If some supplement enchaces this process, it will probably work. And that's why anabolic, androgenic steroids work. I have no idea how nitric oxide would help there but hey... I'm not a doctor or a scientist... I'm just skeptical.

There is only one great replica of this watch. Beware of all inferior models (including the "MBK"... whatever that is). Article 1 Article 2 You can't buy a perfect one out of the box... you need to do some mods to the base watch.
-
Some of the potentially harmful stuff that these supplement companies are pushing will probably make your liver turn orange. I'd much rather take a moderate testosterone cycle every year than use this month's "new and revolutionary" snake oil. At least then I'd know what stuff I'm dealing with.

First... since you're talking about bodybuilding, I assume you have serious size in your mind... not some pretty model boy/metrosexual six pack abs with wimpy muscles. Supplements (besides protein powder and anabolic steroids) are mostly just a complete waste of money. That's just imho. If you want to train naturally and gain some size, reduce the training frequency, train big compound movements (squats, deads, etc.) eat & rest well and increase the intensity. Forget the supplement nonsense and read writings by Stuart McRobert, Dr. Ken Leistner, etc. 70% of the man's muscle mass is in lower back and legs. But besides of this fact, most men usually train only the remaining 30%. You will never develop big arms and maximize your upper body development without serious lower body training. Most new trainees also grossly overtrain and ignore their cortisol levels and never see much progress at all (after the initial 2-3 months growth burst is over). If you want to gain some serious size (by bodybuilding standards) and simultaneously maintain a low body fat (with some vascularity) you still have to train the big movements and inject a needle in your arse. Sad but true. Don't waste your money on useless shit. 99,9% of the hyped supplements are just that: complete and utterly useless expensive shit for gullible people who are looking for shortcuts. There are no shortcuts... you need to go through pain and suffering (and train the heavy big movements if you want to gain ANY size naturally.) And besides, these supplements scammers are selling their garbage with pictures of steroid-enchanced lifters. I'm not an expert but I'm a ex-competitive powerlifter and someone who has lifted seriously for 20+ years. None of the competitors (that I knew... some were world class lifters) never used many legal supplements (just the basics... protein, multivitamin, omega fatty acids, etc.) It's mostly just about drugs and genetics... and one's ability to respond to anabolic androgenic drugs (among the elite). Good luck.

I love those Doxas. Wearing my elegant white today.

This is very nice rep. I think I owned at least 3 of these before I got my gen. New lume is a great addition. And I agree that the crown is a must mod... it's definitely the weakest link on these Noobfactory ExpII's and GMT's. Enjoy!
