I have owned and reviewed both. Keep in mind that v1 came out much earlier, and the one I reviewed was the base watch. Not quite sure what mods BK performs for them. WM9 v1 Sub (aka TW Best) WM9 v2 Sub WM9 v2 is superior in every sense, besides the bracelet SELs (which are superior on v1). Best possible combo: v2 with v1 SELs.

Best? Technically? Probably. Coolest? Nope. I'll take the '65 Fastback. I really like the new Mustang though. The "retro" look is superb.

You're correct... the gen bezel color is different. That rep has "candy blue" bezel tone which is wrong. The pearl is terrible as well. The whole watch looks cheap-o. Here's my gen. It was only about $1K preowned. Why buy a crappy $300 rep of this fine watch?

It's ironic... WM9 Sub v2 was finally the answer to our prayers. WM9 disappearance was a conspiracy... now we're hunting the best Sub again. It never ends...

Even if the pictures are of a real watch, it doesn't prove anything. Web has probably 10.000 photos of the Daytona. Anyone can steal pictures and attach them. This is my Bugatti Veyron for sale. Send me $15,000 and it's yours. If the deal sounds too good, it probably is.

I don't consider myself a huge BMW fan anymore (I loved the E28 and old 6/8-series), but I drove my friend's 2001 BMW 540i today (E39), and that's gotta be one of the best sedans I've ever tried. It actually drove much nicer than the newest 5-series. Awesome compromise... E39 was comfortable like big Peugeot's and Citroens but also sporty and "rough" like the sports cars. Much nicer than my company Mercedes E200 without a doubt. It's a great car and definitely affordable. And despite being 10 years old, it was very modern but still had the old BMW "spirit". I actually fell in love with this car... maybe I'll buy one for my wife. PS: Not my friend's car in the picture but it looked like this one.
