  1. I'm with Iron Tom... Pepsi for Monday.
  2. That's a genuine TAG Link in those pictures. I wouldn't buy from a scam site but of course it's ultimately your choice.
  3. Newer "Noob" versions are worse as they all have the crap engraving. But that's still the second best out there. The only better TT Sub is the WM9 version (supplied by bklm1234).
  4. How about reading the actual review of it? LINK.
  5. Sorry to say but it's a terrible replica. Absolutely dreadful. If it's gen ETA movement I'd keep the watch for spare parts.
  6. Make sure you're searching the forums... and not members, help files, etc.
  7. I would try to source an old, ETA-powered Noobmariner through member trades. The one without crappy rehaut engraving of course. That engraving pretty much killed the rep (at least for me). The old, classic Noob still a very good Sub replica. The only thing it needs is a crown replacement... that was terribly oversized.
  8. This was purchased in 2006. Classic SMP chrono with some upgrades. This is the oldest rep I still have. Here you can view a lot of old reps that I have owned.
  9. That picture is of an old, initial version of the Noobfactory GMT that has Exporer II-sized ROLEX & coronet printing. Come on guys... the small lettering and coronet are very apparent... where is your eye? I doubt Trusty sells that one because I haven't seen those in ages. If he sells Noob GMT's I suspect they're all of the new (good) batch. I would ask him to send a picture of the actual watch shipped. But that one in the pic is definitely from the Noobfactory... just bad initial version.

    Goodbye Siss

Very sorry to hear that Ken.
  11. That looks like the same "Ultimate" GMT Master IIc that everyone has. Non-symmetric rehaut engraving and all that... It's the best rep there is. But yeah, you can still spot it as a rep quickly (if you know what to look for).
  12. Hey Randy, check this thread. There's more discussion about it: And no, it's not repped (yet).
  13. Nope. The subdial spacing is correct on the rep. Gen Speedmaster date uses a 7750.
  14. That is very nice design. Actually the 2000 series is the predecessor of the Aquaracer.
  15. That guy was the first dealer ever who came to my RG review section to start some sh*t. Too bad his visit wasn't that 'grandioso'. Never heard of him since. Read further from message #18. http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=945
  16. Pictures have all been stolen from a known Ebay seller: Jewelersontime. That is 100% scam site.
  17. They're good and reliable. Sometimes even good looking,. But for me the Japanese cars are like Citizen and Seiko. I have no interest for them at all.
  18. I agree. That's a classic if anything is. There is actually one very good looking black one for sale in Germany right now but that V12 scares the sh*t out of me. If something breaks you're in trouble. But that station wagon version... hmmm...
  19. Rolex Submariner WM9 (rep) and GMTII (gen). Both equally light and comfortable. Oyster band gives a perfect fit, always. You can't beat Rolex in that department. Breitlings and 7750 chronos are cool but they're HEAVY.
  20. @Richard: Great to see you here. You should come more often, and post pics of your amazing watch collection for us mortals to see.
  21. There might be both of them. Just like Rolex Oyster bands have the edges with or without polishing. My gen SMP (non-chrono have them brushed). Check Ebay.com for SMP Chrono auctions. I'm sure there are dozens of reference pics. Either way, I don't think it's a big deal.
  22. I don't have the watch with me here anymore but that's a good guess. PS: Thanks all.
  23. @automatico: Yes, the 21J version with frozen stopwatch would be an easy and reliable solution. But I meant that factories don't care about our wishes as the seconds at 6 version sells so much. @Freddy: Sent you a pm. Personally, I've never been a big fan of the Daytona (any model) for some reason. I have tried on the gen and I was completely underwhelmed. But then again it's like Porsche 911... even if it's not quite for you, you still can't argue against one of the biggest classics ever. I'd really love to see so many of our members happy though.
