  1. Leslie Nielsen passed away at 84 years of age. Awesome comedian... I mean who didn't love this guy? "Wrongfully accused" was my favorite Nielsen movie. RIP
  2. One of the best quality reps ever made.
  3. Can't get any better than that. The gen dial really makes a world of difference. And the dial is stunning on the Fish. That's why it's my favorite Breitling.
  4. Actually it was pretty tough to choose. In fact pretty much all guys who have replied to this thread would have made very good team members. But then again the admin team guys are simply working for you, it's not "Elite Old Boys' Club" or anything like that. We make this forum together.
  5. Classic watcher gen vs. rep review. Can't get any better than that. I still remember the original Joshua Sub vs. gen in the old RWG. That was one of the most popular threads of its time. The rep is pretty damn good. Actually I haven't really studied it as I never warmed up to these fat lugs models. Maybe it takes time to get used to the new shape. Thanks for this, absolutely priceless.
  6. Back in 2005 you were able to buy all standard ETA reps for $170. Paul had some in the $140 range, even. I guess those days will never come back.
  7. Link Chrono sold a LOT when it came out... I mean sh*tloads. It was among the best selling reps of that time. The brushed version was never that popular though... I actually prefer that one.
  8. Great shots! That's the best Sub you know.
  9. @Nikki: Awesome reps man. I love that brushed Link Chrono.
  10. Looks amazing. Yellow color fits great to this watch. Skyland is a great, great rep but nothing compares to the gen. If you really, really like some watch model why don't go for the gen route. Visually you'll get that final 10% sorted, plus a superior movement of course.
  11. The best "wrapped" Noobfactory one has it (the watch in my picture). Check my forum for the review. Also the WM9 from bklm1234 (expensive but the best).
  12. Like Ronin, I'm wearing my Ebel today.
  13. That looks amazing D. Actually I prefer TT version of the BCE. It's a blingy watch anyway so why not add a bit of yellow gold there? Very cool.
  14. I have spent hours to fix broken links from my reviews. Whenever you spot one, please report so I can make them functional again. When we changed the url from rwg.cc it broke thousands of reference links. I'm slowly repairing them but there can still be many. Thanks.
  15. Didn't I just post a picture & review link? Look above.
  16. That's a mystery, isn't it? The whole WM9 v1 thing I mean... those watches used to have the same green back sticker as the very old "TW Best" models. It'd be interesting to know where PT can source them. PT's v1 is an amazing Sub. If you have some modding skills you can always remove the rehaut engraving that comes with the new batch. I loved my v1. LINK. Actually I'm quite pissed off now that I traded it back then. Yes, v2 with v1 SELs is the best of the best, but that flat S dial was so great.
  17. That's a beauty indeed! These are the two favorites of mine.
  18. Yes, it's gen. Gen midsize. The resale value is about half of the Professional version. Stay away unless you like small watches. Looks like it's well worn too (the seconds hand tip has been decolorized, etc.)
  19. They're GONE. I hate to be a smartass but I always told people to get these reps when they were still available. Especially the black Explorer II which was sensational. We always wondered that with BK... it was a LOUSY seller despite its very high accuracy.
  20. Porcupine Tree: Fear Of a Blank Planet. Isn't this the best rock song of the 2000's? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2E1FIc74KaM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhRy32LeoqQ
  21. Brothers in Arms and Telegraph Road are the two best songs Dire Straits ever made. Both utterly amazing.
  22. No it's not possible. You have to take off the insert and re-attach it. Ask from the seller why it's not correctly installed. PS: I didn't notice that you mentioned it in the 1st post.
  23. One thing though... the bezel insert is misaligned. That's really weird. The 12'o'clock (pearl area) should match the bezel sharp edge, not flat. Here's my gen for comparison.
