yep, that is true, according to versions. I found this out after few days of wearing them (or checking every five minutes) on daily basis. If you search for the older version and the newer one and compare them, there are at least two main differences which can immediately identify v1 and v2 (not officialy v1 and v2, but lets say it is so). Generally I think, the older version was better. First - compare casebacks. V1 had much better and deeper engravings so it is more gen like. Second - look at the side screws on the bezel; v1 has them correctly placed at 5-15-25-35-45-55 as well as gen. V2 has screws at 10-20-30-40-50-60. According to second flaw, you can remove the bezel and fix it the same way as you change the insert on rolex. According to lume, i think that i have seen stock v1 dials which were slightly better. Lume on the v2 is not one of the best. Dots on the inner ring are acceptable - on 1-5 grade scale i would give it grade 3. Stick markers are bad - grade 4 (if grade 5 means missing lume ). Hands look that they are made in other factory and the lume is like grade 2 (if grade 1 is considered complete re-lume). So it depends. I think lume here is not a tell as those differences are so little, that they are almost the same. The date between lugs on both v1 and v2 is correct. You can compare it to older review qritten by Importr here http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/134093-superocean-abyss-2010-review/ So it would be nice to find out, which version has this crown tube stripping problem. The worst thing is, that anything other is ok, which makes me think - do i have to mod them a little? The thing is, I love them But if i invest in re-lume, gen 428x strap, v1 caseback, WR and movement service - will i ever sell them? Is it wort modding, if there is gen fot 1,7k +-? Yeah, you get sport watches running well at +- 600-700 USD, but is it worth modding? Depends how much do you love them...

Hi guys. I am thinking of buying gen strap for my Superocean 42 and those spring bars comming from rep factory do not look very trustable, so the question is where/which should I buy? I know that I am looking for 20 mm spring bars but I would like to buy those, which are gen or at least close to gen. This is just sick. And i totally agree with the post above. And i think that there is also one other thing. The problem is, that because the search engine does not work properly, now it significantly lowers the chances for the seller to be found. And also their chances to sell their goods for acceptable prices is getting lower, because some of the people who would normaly be interested in bidding are out. Either because they cannot bid or because they will not even see the article in search results. And that can make selling via eBay very risky. And yeah, it is quite hard to understand why do EU-based customers have to search one by one country except of Worldwide or Europe search. I know that there is possibility to choose "every country" but when i get the search results i am like "hey...is this all?". So i do not trust them and repeat the search via local eBays which makes you speak English, German, French and some other local languages for satisfactory results

I really hate what they have done to fleebay. These "new" changes are driving me out. Missing "worldwide" search option seems to be just a beginning. Now I see, that you cannot place a bid if there is not explicitly stated, that the seller ships also to your country. It was much better before, becouse i could contact the seller and ask him, if he ships to my country as well. Then i joined the auction and at the payment section, i just added the shipping charges according to private conversation with seller. But this new version does not allow even bidding, if seller states only domestic country to ship. Hmmm... Breitling Deployment buckle 18 mm for 20 eur ending in few minutes and i cannot even bid... This drives me crazy. w/e. Gen Ocean Racer with deployment - 65 eur two days ago. 18 mm classic Breitling buckle 15 eur yesterday. And this seems to be another great deal... Nooooooooooooooooooo......

There is not so many flaws to make it perfect (like correct position of bezel screws, better and deeper caseback engravings, correct inner ring colour, superlume and slightly tweaked datewheel). But I agree, that the new SuperOcean 44 looks very good. I would like to see gen rhodium plated 2824-2 movement with rotor engraving once in the future Until that time I am fine also with gold and asian

it is not a rep. i can clearly see, that this was gen. just look at precise lume dots, date position, deep engravings on the caseback and screws at bezel exactly at 5-15-25-45-55, it has also gen strap. Oh yeah. I had a bad idea once again that led to fatal accident to my eyes, when I saw few models of not-well-known watch companies. I saw the entire model range of Invicta, Cerruti, Venus (especialy Limited ED is something VERY different from the rest of the collection ), Solvil et Titus, Movado, Gallet, but when i found myself on website of watch company named FCUK, I deffinitely think, that they have typo in their brand name I need to soothe my eyes right now. I think I am gonna make a visit IWC, Ulysse Nardin or Jaeger Le Coultre site lol.

Just be patient. It is normal that tracking can stop for longer time. Last time i was receiving status updates 7 days earlier via my domestic post office than via tracking site. and i can say, tracking site was refreshed 10 days after i received my package. just relax and be patient. my last ems delivery lasted almost 7 weeks. ordered in mid october, received the night before christmas
