it was a quartz model, I will post pics asap. Funny thing is they said it was an exact replica to the watch used in the movie, but the watch they used in the tv show had a sel bracelet... The other funny point was the watch was supposed to deflect bullets, but in the movie the cool thing it did was unzipped Miss Caruso's blue dress.

I am on cold meds, so I guess I shoudl triple check how I am coming accross... bytor that is what i was hoping it was, just reflection off the hands. I really like that piece, its got a great dial design. I really do appreciate all great pics and time spent lanikai, members like yourself are what make this place so great.

@ lanikai, I was speaking of the watch above that bytor showed a gen picture of. It seems to have white hands for the sub dials, where the rep has black hands for the sub dials. thats all...

I love the red/black sub dial version, but shouldnt the sub dial needles be white? i guess its an easy fix if they are to be white instead of black. Thanks for the pics lanikai, wear them all well.

bytor, you know I want one of those gmts, I like the black/red more than the pepsi, but they are both amazing. If you put correct hand stack movements in them, you would the best of the best. keep us informed of that mod. thanks for the great pics....

I was just looking at that site last night. I agree with fxr about the swiss movement and guarentee. I also find a big pilot with a swiss movement, super lum and warentee for the same price. the are unbranded, so what not legal?

I would prob. try to find one with a good leather and buy a gen rubber strap. I have found that gen rubber is better...

speedmaster, that is a great question. my rep expII feels of a better quality than a number of gen exp II's that I have had the pleasure of trying on. I know there is a movement shortage, maybe once they start using other movements, we will see more of these great reps. Until then we can drool over these amazing watches from lucky members.

thats half of being correct. river told me that they are out of the black face, kinda bummed since i am working on a franken white faced.

good luck with the repair, I know from personal experience what its like to have a watch die on ya. getting the new one will be just as fun though.
