  1. Intuitive thoughts first and then the forum does some work...
  2. Thank you so much for your compliments. I feel that my projects would get nowhere without this forum and of course, without all of you. Major credit should go to the talent of the watchsmiths that have been helping me all along, not to me. But I believe we can go together much further... as for recent projects I am starting on with Angelus mvmts and hand made vintage like dials... I will post as soon as I have any progress. Hats off to Rolli. A real gentleman and some distance ahead of us on vintage projects! All the best, M.
  3. What a nice project! Looks a killer to me!!! Can you explain me the part involving Lays Ketchup potato chips?!? best, M.
  4. must be a 47 otherwise he would wear it on the index finger...
  5. As an architect I know what you mean by that... best, M.
  6. a true vintage look... BTW congratulations Rolli for stepping ahead all of us on vintages. And thank you also for the photo database. I am browsing slowly... and rooling at some rare pics I never saw anywhere! M.
  7. Hey R. Thats AMAZING what you did to the two first dials. I was never able to achieve such results! Congratulations. I am drooling... M.
  8. Very nice looking... Congratulations. M.
  9. Congratulations for your work. I totally agree with Babola advice except the part that involves the ingestion of coffee. You will need steady hands to disassemble the keyless works! Cheers, M.
  10. Hi Kai, I consider mine in better shape... dont you agree?
  11. ... and there were some variations on the cal.618. This one is claimed to be a 618 also altough it looks completely different from the common corteb
  12. Hi S. this is the rlx cal 618. They were used on some early vintage models.
  13. Hey Tourby, very impressive... keep us updated! M.
  14. You are right. Good luck with it!
  15. I totally agree. Even if you feel capable of doing the needed surgeries by yourself is better to let them be made by the hands of a professional... M.
  16. I believe thats the famous Guille's project. It has a couple of years but I remember this project had a lot of investment. You can read about it on the risti. Search under Guille. However for such an investment the crown is far from accurate, the work on the CG is not anywhere near perfect and The case set used on this is from a regular RXW tribute watch. It may be a good investment... but not for me.
  17. You are both right guys! But only now I have a proper Angelus mvmt so I will go slowly on this one... New year... new projects. best, M.
  18. Hey Victoria, You may have to change of boyfriend (I do not mind :-)) but please do not give up on that sexy pair of Uggs... M.
  19. I also do love pizza but like to slice it with my bare hands... no need to detach a rep crown to do it!
  20. I thank you all for the compliments about my 3646! I will surely communicate that to my watchsmith who owns major credits for my projects... maybe that can soften him up! He has such a bad temper... I just do not understand why suddendly all the interest went to the 3646. IMHO this 6152 is my (our, in fact) major achievement... dont you agree? Thats why I brought this topic back from the dead... A wonderful 2008 to you all! M.
  21. Thank you all for the compliments. Wear it well SKcheng! Happy 2008! M.
  22. The feeling is mutual!! BTW thanks for the compliments but it was me who profited the most with your teachings! Both you and SKcheng are walking treasury chests concerning info and tech data. Most important both of you have the joy to share... an exquisite characteristic nowadays. Honored to meet you W!! Thank you for the warm welcome and I am surely looking forward to more of the same! A big thanks goes for Arch also! M. PS- Did you check the Laco?
