Appreciate if anyone can paste the link to the earlier discussion. I always thought the SW200 is direct replacement for 2824, SW220 for 2836 (iirc).
In another words, the dial feet and DW should fit.
No cyclop, no proper AR anyway only making the date hard to read?
im still pondering if to get one w/o cyclop, normal hand instead of the YM sec hand though.
U need to:
-open caseback
-remove stem
-remove movement tabs
-take the movement out
-remove the crystal
-repress the crystal
-put everything back on.
Its not hard really, and no im not being sarcastic.
As good as the rep is, I'm pretty skeptical of the 2836 modified for the GMT function. Anyone who opened up te movement can comment on my concern? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah if it's a dwo then it wouldn't be much of a problem.
Just that 20£ is a bit steep IMO.. $ might be better.
Either way, good luck and I will be interested to see the final product!

I don't see how that is mudslinging, when i am not a modder offering any services. That's the dealing experience I saw first hand, and see fit to mention it since the topic/discussion is up here.
One can support him if he received satisfactory services from him, fair enough, but that doesn't mean that the other customers will be.
My friend had one dealing with him, and it is definitely unpleasant.
A watch was brought to him to see if he can repair some date wheel issues, he repled the next day saying it isnt worth repairing, and charges my friend SGD 40 (~$32) for "inspecting" the watch, which was not mentioned upfront.
Some dirt appears on the white dial when the watch was back. Just great.
