  1. Cool day date with the diamonds, you must be a rapper or something...
  2. When in doubt go nato you could always swap out the movement if it worries you that much.
  3. I've never seen these with lug holes. Where's it from?
  4. Yep, same ring. It probably have to be filed a bit to fit the case clamps. Again, nothing too difficult.
  5. A 2846 will work for a 5500 case as far as I know. You could also try a 2452, or a 2472 to get a 18,000 bph rate. The date wheel will have to be removed, but there's not much to that.
  6. I found the DSSD to be way too big. The Sea-Dweller is just right. The BPSD is a hell of a good watch with a little bit of work: I added a gen crown , Clark's hands and a TC bracelet to mine.
  7. Rocking a 114270 today with a genuine Rolex croc strap.
  8. That is a route to consider. Would a 2824 or 2836 fit that case though?
  9. I'd look for an Oysterquartz dial first and foremost.
  10. Love it so far! The crystal and crown could use an update though...
  11. Dial looks great considering. However, if you're using a gen dial, you might as well go with a gen crown and tube. They make a difference.
  12. I've been leery to drill on a case without lugholes. Seems it could go wrong quickly...
  13. I'd love to drill lug holes in my bp sd and do the same thing.
  14. Sea-Dweller for today. Got bored this afternoon and finally added a gen crown
  15. Isn't it 24-600? For those interested this is how the 5506 ended up looking:
  16. I used a dremel to grind the cyclops down. You have to be careful not to take too much off, then I polished with silvo and a rag. This was prior to me acquiring green jewelers rouge, which is how I would recommend to it.
