Looking for a Pam 390. Is it the best brown dial Pam?

BigCrown sells a gen spec crystal with 2x AR coating on the cyclops. Any gen spec crystal should work on the TC sub.

Just following up with an update for anyone who's interested. 1.) I can confirm that when installing the oscillating pinion gear, the thicker of the two gears goes down into the watch as FxrAndy had suggested above. The thinner gear goes up and interfaces with the Chronograph 60s 30min wheel. 2.) I can also confirm that you can not use an ETA 60s 30 min wheel replacement (part 35.010) in an A7750. The stems have a slight different diameter, actually I think it's just a different chamfer. Regarless, the ETA part will not go all the way into the movement. I finally got around to trying this tonight as this was the part of my A7750 from my 1911 that was broken. I had ordered an ETA replacement and just hadn't got around to tyring to fix it yet. I was concerned it might not work because as many here have recognized, you can't use ETA hands on an A7750 or vise versa without messing with the hands' hole size. I was hoping the 35.010 part would work and I could just try to modify the hands but the part won't even fit in the movement. :-( Anyway, I think the next step is to try and just buy a completely assembled A7750 and put the watch back together with a new movement. If anyone has a spare they would like to part with please PM me.

It's sad that people can't talk politics without getting upset. When talking about politics you are really discussing social and economic policies, among other things, which are some of the most interesting in the world. Neither side can prove with uncertainty that their theory is correct which makes the debate so interesting, yet many people can't discuss it rationally. Can I prove that unregulated capitalism would have prevented the housing bubble? Nope, but I can suggest that without [censored] Mae and Freddy Mac buying up all those loans the banks would have been forced to keep those loans on their balance sheets and they never would of made a single crappy loan in the first place. However it's just a talking point not an absolute. At the end of the day, America will go on and Obama will do a fine job. Say what you want about him, he's an incredibly intelligent man and many of the decisions he makes in foreign affairs and social issues I will likely agree with. I happen not to believe in his economic policies. I think those policies are what has made this country so great.

I actually like Obama as a person and think he's an incredibly smart and talented man. However, I hate what he stands for. I think what's happening in this country is very sad. Coming to America and working your brains out and becoming rich and successful used to be the American dream. Now, for whatever reason, and I'm not sure when it happened exactly, being rich and successful in America makes you this terrible person. I'm not rich and successful but I've worked my whole life to achieve it and I feel like I'm making progress. The problem is my government is basically telling me, "Well don't work too hard because we're just going to take it from you anyway." It's really sad IMO. This video says it all.

About markets.. where to invest? (pension plan)
imajedi replied to slask111's topic in General Discussion
The key is to diversify, which will give you the safety everyone here is talking about. Invest a majority of your money in safe markets and a portion of it in more risky markets. I'll leave it up to you how much risk you want to take on but for long term investments, I'd keep risk fairly low. -
The choice really comes down to whether you think you are smart enough to figure out what to do with your own money or whether you feel you are too stupid to make those decisions so you'd rather give it to the government and let them decide.

I did something similar to my Ebel Discovery 1911. Chrono broke a few weeks after I got it and I decided just to rip it to shreds and try and fix it. Fixed half the problem and ordered a eta replacement part for the broken piece. Received the replacement but have not tried reassembly yet. Best of luck to us all.

Haven't heard back from him either for a week or so now.

Reminds be of the bra clasp of a girl with huge b@@bs. Actually, come to think of it, I suddenly love the length. :-)
-
I say keep the 1680 and sell the 16610 to me. Very simple. :-)
-
Nice first try, may I suggest adjusting the length on the next attempt. :-) Seriously though, very nice. It's way better then any strap I've made.

Yeah, but if you can't get the bezel off how do you get the crystal out? Through the back?
-
Geeeeeezus that thing is gorgeous!!!
-
Is there anyway to change the crystal on one of these factory reps? I know the bezels don't come off but wondered if the crystal could be changed by taking the movement out? I have a gen spec cyclops AR'd xtal that I want to use.
