  1. Looks like it as when he was winding the rolex he was like "Its very quiet, and if you hear like meshing like quirk quirk quirk" BUT IT IS LOUD!! I can hear it! Sounds pretty bad.. LOL But he could have been just purely delusional. haha
  2. Nice of you to quote me on this Mr.A LOL... The gold that we harvest is platinum-titanium-diamond like-gold. If anyone kidnaps me, the only thing they'd get is a suplex by Mr.A. He promised the safety and well-being of his dear friends This was hilarious. Thanks OP & Mr.A MICROSCOPIC CHISEL AND HAMMER TO GET THE ENGRAVING DONE!!! LOL!! WHAT A GENIUS!! LOL
  3. Agreed. No one is going to call you out on a Noob 390. No rep is perfect, this comes very close, and the difference in the price tag really justifies this as well.
  4. still waiting for that pam422 instead.. lol
  5. where did you get that strap mate? Its so beautiful
  6. Was gonna say.. It suits u perfectly!! Maybe because of your extravagant lifestyle mate. Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  7. Bro, why dont u take a deposit first? Say maybe 25%? Least ud know whos fully interested or not. Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  8. There are improvements with the divers, but they always seem to get the inner bezel incorrect. This is the gen of the FC diver, notice how the font is slightly different and the lume application is also very different. The closest factory ive seen so far to replicate this is H factory. The main flaw with that is the slightly yellow tint on the lume, in which if it was white, i would 100% go for it. I think the H is severely under-rated and they deserve more credit. To return to our topic of the accuracy of the inner bezel. The regular SS version has a slight difference in font and lume application which really bothers me. The level of detail in the lume application is more than the FC divers which makes it obvious that it is a rep. Its sad to see how such minor details have such a huge impact of the big picture of the diver. It becomes one of those: so close yet so far. Someone posted a pict of the gen diver, id repost it here. Even from a distance u can still tell the difference. (Pict #2) But on the topic of the factories intentionally not making it right, i completely agree with what they are doing. But i think if they switched the strategy to making it right, charging a premium, and make more accurate models, they might make more money. But hey, everyone has different arguments. I for one would be willing to pay 2x more for an accurate model, and wouldnt most of us, which is why many end up modding and going franken. Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  9. Before going further, Few things you must learn abt the forums if you havent alrdy known. Watch forums are extremely high on trust, with that being said do be cautious when dealing with members. They might not have ill-intentions but your expectations might be different. However, you should realize that when you are dealing with a TD, there are no "what if things turn sour, than the bank guarantees." TD's will not attempt to screw u over for $300, their reputation is worth much more. If you have problems with a purchase with a TD, post on the forums and im sure they would work it out. I get quite fed up when new members purchases and put notes in paypals or reports dealers on paypal. It makes our payment much more difficult when TD's do not accept different methods of payment. I.e. Paypal. So please do your research and dont screw things up for the community. So back to the question, id go for the Noob. Both are similar in quality if you are not familiar with the rep world, but the noob wins in terms of accuracy. Enjoy your first rep. It wont be ur last Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  10. Just want to share with you rep folks regarding a Geneinstien 3717 that I have. I purchased it from an m2m and got a very remarkable buddy on this forum to aid in servicing the watch for me. It has a geneinstien build will all gen parts except the movement and buckle. However the movement is a swiss eta 7750 gen movement, and after freshly serviced, it should count as a geneinstien A special thanks to my buddy Mr.A, a wonderful guy, and i was fortunate to have met him in real life. A true valued member of this community. And now for the picts Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  11. Hahaha, more like suplex mountain for u mate;) It is indeed frustrating. The more frustrating thing for me was the sound of the rotors. God they are a big give away once you shake them up, and it doesnt feel solid. Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  12. I think he was referring to a real-life comparison, not a review. I.e. Comparing to his own gen or his mates. Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  13. While i am studying ROO diver reps, someone else that i know off simply buys the gen and the rep to just compare it side to side. Then he goes off and mods it to see what the limits are, but always ends up selling it for a bargain for the members here. A remarkably generous fellow that guy. Don't you think Mr.A? On a related topic, I think the new divers has made vast improvements in their Lume, and you're probably right. a 90%-->95%, a huge improvement in my books, but still definitely not gen-like.
  14. JF factory is certainly very good, I've seen many people in other forums leaning towards the V5. You can look up at intime.co for the V5, they have good pictures there. GL
  15. The picture you showed is a Rep. 7750 Movement with modded plates to make it look like a P9000. As StormTooper has mentioned, the gen movement is different, built differently and the tell is the placement of the wheel. The biggest tell is the pinkish jewel, where the gen has a darker pink. Just notice also the detail around the gen movement where that jewel is located and you can see a vast difference between the gen and the rep. Best of luck, hope that helps.
  16. Hahaha, your advise is always very insightful pulling the community from false hypes. I think your position is more suitable for a guru in a stock market . Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  17. Very well said. On a separate note, what do you think of this schumi? Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  18. I do understand your point, but apologies in adv, i think that perspective is rather ignorant. There are so many rich people in this world. We don't have to go too far, Take for example the famous Mr.A on this forum. Take a look in his watchbox and ur in for a surprise sir;) Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  19. Actually when i mentioned AP veteran, i was referring to you sir Very much agreed, i was looking through the gen picts and it does look like a toy. Quite sad, but true. And yes, new versions keep coming out. For the better.. Or for the worse.. Haha Sent from my iP**** using Tapatalk
  20. I happened to stumble across this. A white Ceramic AP Diver?!! Amazing how quickly these rep makers can actually respond. Any insights from AP veterans would be appreciated Do chime in! http://www.pure-time.com/product/royal-oak-offshore-diver-white-ceramic-noob-best-edition-on-white-rubber-strap-a2824/
  21. Hi, i know many of us here are not a fan of RG watches, especially on reps, but have anyone purchased the pam393 before? Or anyone willing to chime in on the accuracy? I'm quite fascinated by the aesthetics of it. Thanks
  22. yep yep i guess you're right. they mistaken it for a regular diver's lume instead of a cf. the CF does have spacing between 5 & 0. Your inputs have been very helpful
  23. Saw this up on puretime, the new V5 CF AP Diver, looks like they've updated the inner bezel again, though imperfect but looks better. Seems like theres a war going on with the NF and JF, as they are just bombarding with the "newest" version from each factory. lol. Fyi, V7 Diver is also out. LOL LOL Chime in guys! http://puretime-asia.com/product/royal-oak-offshore-diver-forged-carbon-11-jf-best-edition-on-rubber-strap-a2824-v5/
