  1. What do you mean by "are they valued anymore like this?" Regarding the strap, to me it looks like a rep. Its not the patterns of the croco i'd be looking for, but rather the inner side on the strap where the leather is tanned. This one looks a little to brittle or rather inflexible relative to the gen straps.
  2. Hi guys, I am wondering which Factory made the FC AP Diver V3. I know its not Noob factory for sure as their Quality control is much better, but I am wondering if it is the ZF? From what I've seen, they have consistently made the FC AP Diver V3 with low defect rates. Especially when this is compared with the NF, like the AP Diver 5.1 which was recently released. We can already see so many defected watches with poor lume application, etc. On a separate note, the NF should step up its game a lot, they are starting to get very sloppy and I'm beginning to lose trust in them. Back to the topic, anyone knows which factory makes them? Thanks
  3. there supposedly is, but its still far from gen.
  4. Hey Mr.Z are you actually attempting to make a batch to produce on your own? I assume you'd be selling these off? or could it be... you are actually the Z-Factory?!! lol
  5. We can all pretend we are colorblind for a while can't we?
  6. Tbh im abit of a nit picker and overly detailed. There were some flaws with it and i cannot wear it comfortably. But id have to say it is an amazing watch from a relatively close distance. The CF, etc is great. I would wait for a v4 if it exists or a modded one would also be great. You should get one mr.a Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I honestly cannot tell the difference between this and the V4.1. I was hoping the inner bezel would be more accurate, but i cannot see any real differences. The FC AP on the other hand, is quite a piece My question is, would there be a CF AP Diver V4?
  8. I dont believe theres a car to watch ratio. Like watches, cars are hobbies. I have friends who have a dozen of richard milles, and yes they are gen, and still drives a toyota for his daily car. Although he does have a merc. Its just preference how people spend their money. The way id see it is that a watch doesnt depreciate as much as a lux car. Unless you're the kind of person that attempts to fool everyone that the rep is a gen, i dont think there is relevance in a watch to car ratio. But having reps as well as gens do create a good variety in our collection
  9. To be frank with you, they are probably the best AP rep I've owned in every aspect. The reason I'm selling mine is that I'm alittle OCD and can't stand any flaws I see when I do realize them. As with all reps, there are always flaws. For me I always sell my reps after a month or so and go gen after.. I know its kinda retarded, but hey its a good trial watch. TBH the V3 is truly a great watch. If you get one pre-owned, you can sell it for a similar price if you're unhappy with it and don't lose out too much
  10. At one point, we'd have to own a gen panerai. I'd suggest you take that path while you have the option to
  11. Thanks for the comparison. On a side note, isnt the inner bezel for the H factory closer to gen than the V3?
  12. Just get a V2 Ceramic diver and switch the caseback.
  13. its a hard tell. The micro-screw on the top looks right with the hole in it and the swan-neck also looks correct. Where my doubt lies is at the color of the gems. The color of the gem for the Y cab isn't deep enough, and the bridges looks to rough. Again, it might just be the photo angle and lighting, so I wouldn't be sure if it was gen or not.
  14. Pardon me for my ignorance, what mods did you do btw?
  15. I think it'd be a great rep.. but open caseback on a rep, unless a 6497 pam, is a difficult pull. and to you Mr.A do let us know
  16. wonder if theres going to be a v4.. thats my question.. lol
  17. I don't see how rep-ing a 42mm at this point would be beneficial to us tbh. The flaws are too obvious as the 7750 makes it too thick. On the other hand, the 44mm makes it less noticable.
  18. Its a difficult debate. Only a $30 difference between pre-order and the actual release..
  19. You'd need a gen dial, hands and tachymeter. As for the rep, you'd just need the casing. Oh last but not least, most importantly of all. Then you need Domi GLW-hunt. You got one piece of the puzzle but ur not there yet.
  20. haha, some tension there... but I think the question is relevant esp when the OP post picts. Thanks for clearing matters up
