You're right, I've bought several straps and they all look different than I expected them to. Photos can be very deceiving/misleading when it comes to straps...sometimes
I just received my Europelli baseball strap in the mail today and it is indeed a superb strap...high quality and very soft...and the service was very fast and friendly. The question I have though is are these straps supposed to be an orangish color. This may seem like a stupid question but the picture of the strap on the eruopelli website shows a natural tan color and the strap I received today is more orange than tan. Is this how they look prior to breaking them in? Any insight would be appreciated. thanks.
As I was searching around for a 14060 sub, I noticed that TWG and Angus have many of the same photos of this watch. Is this common for dealers to share photos? I would think not, although the watches probably come from the same source.
Looks like I'm back to the drawing board. I saw this semi-mount about 6 months ago and really liked it so I went back to the store to pursue it about a month ago and they didn't have it in the store so they ordered it for me. When it finally came in, the mount was in 18k white gold instead of yellow and the price nearly doubled on the ring (in both white and yellow gold). They claimed the price of gold went up since I first saw the ring 6 months ago.
I recently got this strap for my Seastar 1000 and now I can't take it off. This is an amazing strap. Any one familiar with the German strap company Di-Modell?
Perhaps this is a stupid question but why wouldn't you just select a watch that already has lug holes and drill those to the right diameter? I've never heard of anyone giving a watch lug holes that didn't already have them before.
Thanks for all of your great responses. I wanted to know some opinions on Jewelry Stores in malls vs. jewelry districts? I found this great semi mounting in a family owned jewelry store here in San Diego but it's in a mall. What do you think about buying loose stones at a mall jewelry store vs jewelry district jewelry store. Any suggestions? Thanks
I don't know much about EXPII (though I had one from abay) but I do know that the rehaut on the gen is more at a 90 degree angle with the dial face and deeper...the rep is more slanted and shallow...my vote is GEN.
