Looks like one is up for sale. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=317545 This exact new model with the old darker 16613 style dial is number 1 on my list of gens to purchase. What do you guys think, is it a transitional model with a new matching ceramic insert version coming down the road? PS I can't snag the high quality pics to post in this thread so if anyone can, I'd appreciate it.

I don't think it exists in gen, because it says 8 DAYS. Pro'ly no way to make a 42mm inhouse manual have that much reserve. Actually, I just lost one of the strap screws and need to find a replacement. Maybe it uses the same screws as the 45mm rads?

Wow! That's amazing Mark! Thank you for your web expertise and sacrifice. The design looks sweet. I clicked the 42mm Radiomir and only saw one. Hopefully my rare 42mm 8 DAYS will get added. On a side note, what are your thoughts about it being public, or open to search engine indexing. I think it helps our hobby keep a low profile if it is not public. I doubt Panerai does not realize the extent at which their watches are repped, but this flaunts it in their face. Just sayin' Great job! :thumbsup:

Yes, it does seem to give a tiny bit of insight into his obsession. Guitars and watches. I got the impression of expensive luxury. It seemed to be in context for me. The smallest they had were 0.125" or 1/8th inch. I need a lot smaller. I'll check another local store.

I'm hoping to tap into the collective here to find a quick solution to my problem. I received a new 3777 rep to find that the button/pin on the clasp falling out because it is missing a fastener ring to hold it in place. TD says he cannot get the ring from the maker because the bracelet is from a different source. He says I need to mail back the bracelet for return/repair. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a ring fastener to fit without mailing back the watch. Pics

Here are a few pics, comparing the HBB 3777-04 to the 3717, using some different light sources.

Yes I have the 3717, XVI and XVII. This 3777 seems to have inferior crystal or AR. I'll take some pics later to show how they compare but it's easy to see the difference in person. As for the pin/button on the clasp, it looks like it is missing a fastener ring to hold it in place. I've requested a replacement ring and hopefully can fix it myself.

Just got the 3777 in my hands. First impressions are as follows; Bracelet is a [censored] to size, but might be easier once I lube it. It feels lighter and kind of cheap. The clasp rattles. Hopefully I can do something to fix all of this. Also the color of the bracelet does not match the watch head. Seems like a totally different material. Lighter and softer. [update] the clasp release button fell out!! Sheesh luckily I found this in my lap! AR/crystal is not impressive and kind of milky or just not clear and does not make the black pop. This is a high contrast dial and I think the crystal/AR make is have less contrast. The dial on the other hand is amazing! Is like to compare it to the gen but it looks very nice, as does the case. First impression is I like it a lot and look forward to buying the other maker's 3777 soon (when is it due out BTW?). Quick pics from my iPhone 5s

Pls pardon my ignorance, but is this a fantasy model? I don't know much about vintage Rolex models. Is it just me or do those crown guards look very different from each other? They don't look symmetrical.
