Thanks for that @Jkay I thought they were all the same. And yes, go slow, and have patience. It will look great when done. I did brought back a Panerai bracelet back from the dead. Pro'ly have the pics on the forum somewhere ... Here, I found the link when i was Fixing-a-Scratched-Bracelet? http://www.rwgforum.net/index.php?/topic/152585-Fixing-a-Scratched-Bracelet?

Hello, and welcome to RWG. Hope you stay a while! Just check out the Trusted Dealer section, pick a few and send an email asking if they have stock or can get stock. You can check their websites too but it doesn't necessarily confirm if its available in stock. I like Angus at http://puretime.co but there are other good TDs too. Cheers

That's right... Don't rub the brushed areas. If you do you can fix it as above or lots of guys like the green and yellow pot scrub sponge. The green part apparently is good for rebrushing those areas. Got this info from another person to help you out if you want to DIY. TimeZone: Omega: Tutorial: Bracelet Refurbishment (Bond SMP, Pic intensive) http://ow.ly/22e8QD TZ-UK Forums http://ow.ly/22e8WR Remember to use a guide block and tape to help keep your brushing/strokes controlled and even if you need to fix the brushed areas Cheers

Thanks for sharing @Docthor! Interesting name I also got a kewl rep from @Dutchguy2. An IWC Mark XVI with custom bracelet! Love it! You sure had a lot of Seiko's. maybe you can help me out with my quest. I've never even held a Seiko but this modded SKX007 caught my eye and I've been casually searching for one. How do these gens compare to our super reps? Do they feel cheap? Any idea where I can get one with modded insert and hands like these?
-
Yes, I thought the same thing but we'll have to see how it goes. I like to refer to it a 'wrist presence.'

The XVII bracelet is due out in a few weeks.

Welcome aboard. Hope you stay a while. Yes Rochest is a good guy. Getting called out is a common concern, especially for newbs. I recommend you read through the forum for a few weeks to get more familiar with the reps. I also recommend you try it to see for yourself since it shouldn't break the bank. And post some pics when you get it!

+1 Maybe it's just Tapatalk?

I tried a gen at the AD and could hardly wait for the rep after trying it on. It has a ton more presence than my 3717. Maybe too much! I still may get the gen but the rep looks awesome so maybe no not. Who knows. Anyway, I ordered it yesterday from PT. I'll post some pics ASAP. Here's a gen on my 6.375" wrist.

Send Michelle an email. She is very nice. silixprime@gmail.com

I was very happy with my last transaction with Michelle. Silixprime at gmail. Fast email, great comm and very accommodating. I always signed my name with my forum name too so she knew I'm on RWG, RG & RWI. Sent Paypal nov 11, received watch nov 20th! Rare hard to find Anonimo too.

I think there's a Chinese holiday going on for a bit so maybe they are temps.

Look What Came Today... (Franken Submariner 16613)
Cromag replied to wiseguy1481's topic in The Rolex Area
Let me be the first to congratulate you when you get the superior updated 116613. Though most would disagree with me, and I'm no hater as I like both, but as I've had both I find the updated version better. I love my rep of it and it is one of three watches that I may do as gen. -

Hey! I thought this was a hobby among friends. Not a profiteering forum

Welcome aboard Mike. Please post on the things you learn during your modding projects. Always good to hear real world info. Hope you stay a while!

Who was it?

So you just want to see some minimal activity like sead and toro. Your not expecting stuff like Angus does on RG.
-
The only TDs that I see actually posting on other boards is Angus and Toro iirc. And really just Angus. What type of interaction do you want to see from TDs Mike?
