Mike thats what all our guys charge here I'm afraid. Even if it might be atad cheaper sending away the chance of it getting damaged, missing or not delivered is not worth the risk/saving. If it sorts out a watch that you like and it runs well its the price of a good strap so you have to bite the bullet :-) AJ

Say the word Ezio and she will be shipped! Reduced the Moser today by the way! Bronzo again today really looking just how I want her! AJ

So I have to admit to expiditing the process after her Spanish med holiday and am loving the effect! AJ

After some delays on my part, today I finally met and received my PAM 441 from member msm 1 (Alex) in London and I am very grateful for the great job he has done repairing and servicing her as she wasn't running properly (new from a TD) and required some replacement parts as well as a service. Alex is a really friendly and knowledgeable chap and incredibly helpful as I could not get over to his workshop in East London he met and delivered the watch to me in Central London, that's the kind of service I appreciate. So we have a great member here in the UK that can sort out our watches and he doesn't hide behind a mailing address so hats off to him, I for one am delighted and look forward to working with Alex (and his Dad) again. Regards AJ

Say the word Mike, thans Gran and Alvin for your kind comments. She is certainly creating lots of comments when wearing her out :-) AJ -
Haydn It looks as if the hand is not sitting squarely on the pinion. Are you able to gently and carefully remove the front and using an eye loop sguqrely use a Bic pen lid or similar to gently and squarley push the hand down? These are quite rovust but do excercise caution and care, in the UK I have a guy that services these from $100-200 depending on what is wrong. The tatched is one of my Pocket watch conversions, it is a Jaeger Repeater and chronograph movement which is about 120 years old a modern twist on a truly wonderful piece of horology history. Regards AJ

A shame the original post was lost yesterday along with many others. The size of this JLC is 53mm x 16mm with 22mm lugs. This has cost me over $2500 an dtakn 10 months to create. The movement alone cost $1000 and required work. It is a rare piece howevre as it is not only a repeater but a chronograph. Regards AJ -
MOAB is a fantastic choice and serves RWG and its members brilliantly, a superb and well deserved appointment. Best regards AJ
