What's going on between the "20" and "21"? In your photo the "2s " look very different from each other. -

Forum upgrades - new sections and other suggestions

RWG is great to to navigate through compared to Repgeek and RWI. Much cleaner looking site too. One suggestion would be to always include seller location in sales thread titles i.e. EU, CONUS etc. -

Thanks for the tip! Who or what is Ubis?

Adjusted the dial again. Around the 20s the numbers are still off. Guess I'll wear a different watch on those days – until a decent overlay comes up.

Hi All, Just modded my 1665 DSDR. The basis being the Perfect Clones ETA version Josh has on offer. What I've done so far: Aftermarket Singer dial aged slightly Aftermarket T19 crystal (I'm not a fan of the Superdome T39) Aged the case slightly The thing what bugs me is the date wheel alignment, some numbers align some don't. The Singer dial window is slightly larger than the Cartel version compensating a little. Anyone know if there's a better date wheel out there? I know the original Rolex date wheel has the numbers printed running in the other direction, so with the ETA movement the date would run in reverse if I overlaid the original. Also the back, were the engraved letters also painted originally? Thanks!

Are you in the EU? I'd be interested.

Thanks for the info. I asked Yuki if they triangulate, unfortunately they don't.

I'm also thinking about ordering a 5513 ETA dial from Yuki. Has anyone had customs issues with delivery to Germany? I know they ship items as a gift valued $35 to the EU, however my guess is that won"t cut it. I've emailed Yuki directly about customs issues, but haven"t had a response yet.

Great strap I found from Rossini1931, the model is "Albatross". A nice alternative to the standard rep strap.

Unfortunatel Narikaa is out of vintage models at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. I've got the 5517 ETA 2836 version from Josh, the case is a Sea Dweller 1665 (not DS, my bad). Its even engraved with "1665" between the lugs. As well as the back being wrong, the bezel is higher too. The original 5517 is based on a 5513 case, so much slimmer. Yuki has a version of the case, but the site seems to be down, plus I'm not sure they ship to the EU (customs would be a problem).

Anyone know which TD has the 5517 with the correct 5513 case with fixed lugs? Unfortunately most of the ones I've seen use the thicker DS case. Including mine:

Ford's new model facelift looks remarkably like an Aston Martin DBS 2. It almost makes me want to go out and buy one... an Aston that is

Certainly should be quality rather than quantity. Who will monitor the posts? After all 10, 20, 30 or 50 "GLWS" is easily done.
