  1. Great idea Freddy. I finaly ordered one...i'm really looking forward for that watch to land here so I can dive in a glass of water with it. I hope this thread will "merge" all other ones. I've read so many comments that I can't make up my mind anymore, reason why I ordered one.
  2. Tonight and tomorrow, back to some vintage flavor I love these craks in the hour hand
  3. That is a true beauty Ubi. Can't wait to find one, rep or gen, to add to my collection. And yes, the confort of an Oyster bracelet is so great! After weeks of 16610, I'm back to this one today:
  4. NEVER walk into an AD Store with a rep.
  5. My latest purchase from far east was from Josh (with BT we got Retros GMTII) and he managed to send with registered airmail. If they (TT & Josh) do not send this way anymore...then I'm done with ordering from them. EMS from Asia goes to my local customs then straight to the Rolex lawyers! I cannot afford that of course. I stick with Euro based dealers for sure now or have my friends receive the package elsewhere in EU then forward it to me. It's better to pay an extra shipping than never see your watch for sure! EDIT: I'm pretty sure that PT/Eurotimez and Narika can get all the watches you look for guys. Just ask them. It is not because they do not have a huge web site like Josh that they can't order from factories
  6. Wow, I almost missed this one SD ! Great review, thanks a lot.
  7. Beautifully displayed. A great collection for sure !
  8. Congratulations Laz, what else ? It's an amazing adventure for that watch and I'm very happy it ended on your wrist!
  9. As usual, Alligoat and Tribal sum it up. I would simply state, and of course this is my humble opinion: No rep of a modern Sub (MBK/WM9/BKLM/Noob/Euro/or whatever) should be worn without a gen insert / pearl. It might be tricky to fit sometimes, but, what a wonderfull difference Ok Gpl, now you have all the information you can dream of
  10. I'll start this week with my daily Sub!
  11. Wow, that is a great information indeed Dizz, thanks
  12. Yes Sir, since I'm a teenager...which was a long time ago
  13. No, the genuine Subs have no lugholes anymore since 2005 if I'm not mistaken. Loving lug holes is a matter of taste like prefering beer or wine. It's also a way of saying "it was better back then"...nostalgia The crown is much higher on genuine Subs, covering a part of the bezel. Hope this helps.
  14. @ Laz: Congrats my friend, this is a great buy @Pug: I love your Upo photos, thanks
  15. A Sub by the pool this week-end
  16. Thanks Frank... You love dremel ...did you buy shares ?
  17. Wow, Freddy, your posts become more and more ...how can I say...professionals. Thanks for the great information.
  18. I some times had the impression that our main dealers were not answering their mail themselves. I mean, who the hell know if Andrew or Josh isn't infact a nickname used by a "staff" selling the reps. It doesn't make sense to shout loud "I sell 50 watches a day". No true manager would give these figures.
  19. This is just not acceptable. If you buy 30 watches in one year you are a serious collector for sure! But that is not the point. A customer is a customer.
  20. No good rep? Well the one I have is nice Omega Speedy Moon Old generation
  21. Pfff! They are so cheap the Rolex guys. For such a price they could at least give us some engravings on our bracelets I'm happy that my gen 16600 has all this Anyway, good news for the WM9 Sub latest edition then, they are even more accurate now!
