  1. Hi Laz, Hi all, Great idea to start a thread on this second Euro GTG. There is not much I can add to what Laz says here. The GTGs are giving another dimension to this community. Nothing will ever replace the voice, the "live" behaviour, a hand shaking... Internet is sometimes helpfull, forums fun, but when a bunch of humans meet that is THE real life it is so good. I will save a budget on my rep purchases to make sure I can attend the next one, wherever it happens in Europe. Laz, how about 4-5/07 or 18-19/07 in your wonderfull city Thanks to all who made it to K
  2. Still on my wrist, since saturday 6PM, my Tribalised Sub
  3. As everybody already said, one of the most beautifull photo I saw Pug! Thanks Stephane
  4. Good to see you here SD4K Looking forward for our next !!!
  5. Hi All, After a great week-end, some Vodkas ( Robi, we did drink for you, believe me), back with this baby on my wrist My new WM9 16610 completely modded by Tribal (more on this later...I mean on the mods that aren't yet completed by the way, not on Tribal ) Oh, yes, this is a shot in front of K
  6. Well, G.Enzo, this is a true example of what this community is supposed to be. I couldn't have build this without a lot of members help and information! 7.30 hours to go and it will be on my wrist
  7. No one is going to post a better photo than you JMT I must be on time today at the GTG in Cologne, so a Rolie is a must
  8. Ah, yes guys, we do love cars for sure. And also, as BT said, old cars have the spirit. I hope I will be able to get myself an old Alfa Romeo Giulia or Junior again one day I was to young to keep it when I had the chance to own it and drove it untill it died ...
  9. Hi All, Crossed a DB5 in Brussels this morning. Perfect condition! This guy was very young looking to drive this car and I guess we would love to be as fortunate as he is He even bought an interresting plate Cheers Stephane
  10. Look at this wonderfull program: Tonight boys evening: football on TV with my 10 years old son Saturday and sunday: boys week-end with my forum friends and pick up my Tribalised WM9 Sub Isn't life fantastic?
  11. Hi Chris, Thanks for sharing. You make some interresting and fresh comments on this baby. Like you, I have bought almost every sub available from "our" delaers here. I will follow Tribal's opinion and say that this WM9 Sub is probably the best one we ever saw. I have one question for you and the membership: where and by which factory are WM9 subs made I mean, obviously it's not a Noob nor a MBK Cheers Stephane
  12. The guy I bought my 16600 from was wearing a Double Red too. I agree with you, ours are pretty damn close.
  13. Looks nice TMG! Is this a new Basel 2008 model?
  14. Once again, a great article By-Tor. Thanks for sharing and taking the time to put it toghether All the best. Stephane
  15. Thanks guys. I think I reached a new level (again) in this hobby. I have to admit I am really sick: RDD. Even more: RSDD (Rolex Sub Disorder Disease) Quality over quantity I've read this before. What is the point collecting reps of other brands as I never wear them? So I am trully concentrating on Rolies, and that is black dial ones Building another 16610 with a forum friend is as much pleasure as dating a new GF (unless she looks like Astrid Veillon). There are so few watches that I like to wear (Ingy, 196, Po,...) that I'm seriously considering selling all the others. After having build a 16610 MBW with Tribal, coming from the TTK Group buy, and sold it to a great person here, building a new 16610 is so exiting. The watch comes from Asia, the dial from the US, who knows where the crystal is going to come from, ... It's like a new adventure. I own a gen Explorer ll that I never wear. I could trade it and add some cash to get a gen 16610. But I'm sure I would not enjoy it the same way. And it would be the end of a dream : "who has the best sub" Look at the 196 I was offered to buy by Kruzer after meeting the man in person. I waited for a year and a half to own such a perfect piece and now I have it and saw the original owner in the flesh too. The wait and desire, as we all know, is a huge part of the end climax. I love this hobby and this place.
  16. Congrats Scoobs! I have to go for the 196 right now. Just read some great story/review from a forum friend...can't leave it in a box for now
  17. Stephane

    Explorer I?

If only they made it in 40 MM I would by it right away.
  18. @Sql: with such a collection, you really need a "Sub" Rolie for sure @Alligoat: well, when Tribal says WM9 is great, I think we can trust him He must be the member here that owned and modified more Subs than the entire membership could do all toghether
  19. Sorry to sound like wanting to test you guys. I'm not ...I'm just exited of getting a new 16610. Frank: you'll see it soon (and me too) It is a WM9 indeed, and so far it carries a gen dial, gen crown, gen crown/tube, that's it for the moment. I'm following my friend W.Genzo here (thanks for showing a new route) and of course, like my previous 16610, it is a Tribal project A gen crystal shall follow for sure... Some more photos ...
  20. My friend who puts it toghether thank you for that nice comment for sure but it is not Dial is gen though, like some other parts of course! AND I WILL SEE IT IN PERSON NEXT SATURDAY. Yipppeeeee
  21. Wow, no wonder you love it Me? same old stuff
