  1. Thank guys! One can count on you Now, the question is I might have a 1994 (S) but where is my second one (W) Anyways, thanks a lot
  2. I killed my entire familly last night. Problem solved Joking of course. Familly, friends, even worse when it comes to a couple... Humans that we are miss the main point. Being truly happy when the other is happy makes life so more interresting. Armin, don't feel guilty. As long as you do not kill an old lady to get her cash to buy a watch, there is nothing wrong in owning 14 watches. Each night, in my bed, before I sleep, I look at the watch of the day for a couple of minutes...just looking at the minute hand sweeping makes me relax and happy. :sorcerer:
  3. I browse TZ (not often) R-l-x.de (sales) lacotedesmontres.com (french and easy) but never go anywhere else but here to post. Long Life Rwg
  4. Well that is a Happy End then. @Tribal and Freddy: I lost my doc on the manufacture dates for the bracelet. Could one of you help me and others with a link ? I kinda remember that Avitt posted something like that but can't find it Cheers Stephane
  5. Thanks for sharing Joe. It is indeed a fantastic watch for that money, specially for us, Europeans. Cheers Stephane
  6. Wow, Thanks Lonnie. I love that watch. This is exactly what I intend to do but with a touch of 16800
  7. Wow, Yello, was that Henrik you met ?
  8. Agreed 100%. And by the way it goes for all collectable items... Think about VanGogh
  9. Wow, congrats for the patience and the choice. It is indeed making the watch look completely different. Beautifull combo. Wear it well. Cheers Stephane
  10. I'll go for my 1665 Double Red today. I have some homework to do about this model. Sorry no wrist shot but I'll put a photo of the watch when it arrived and a photo of the watch after coming back from MM Untouched MBW MMed Double Red
  11. Thanks for all you comments guys. We'll see how it turns out but I believe that what I envision is possible indeed. Now, don't expect a brand new polished watch...I repeat this is going to be a CrazySub
  12. You gave me an idea ! Splendid wall. Congrats on the watches, the photos, and the wall
  13. S*it, that is bad news Vlydog. Sorry to ask but how much did you pay for that ? I'm asking because I paid 350
  14. Thanks Freddy. Great to learn a bit more each day. Crazy Rolex addiction
  15. @Alligoat: But a 93150 if for "LugHoled" watches, isn't it. So I guess that recent watches do not carry these. So the production must have been stopped and new old stock only available... Do you think a 93150 from 2007 is possible ?
  16. Well, that looks pretty good to me Freddy.
  17. I'm completely confused now. Vlydog asked me some pics of mine. I have a S12 93150 and a W8 one. My understanding is that these 93150 are not in production for years anymore. Does anybody knows when it stopped? Here some pics: W8 S12 And the W8 last middle link
  18. Well, I have some very used parts: gen old insert, gen old crown, and a very mistreaten gen dial... The idea is not be as accurate as possible but create a watch that has been worn and beaten to death but still functions ...
  19. Oh, it's far from being finsihed... Yes, even RepAustria and Tribal do not want to try. You MUST have the correct material/tools and that is not cheap. Incredible you say that. When I looked at that photo myself I was wondering if making it a project watch was a good idea. Maybe I should buy a spare Noob now as they are really very close to the real deal. This one is untouched except the lug holes by the way. Yes, I have a tag for each Rolie now. Funny to see the Noob or MBW serial on a perfect copy of the Rolex stickers and on a gen green tag. Wow, you must be reading my private mails and pm @Lonnie: wow, yours look georgous. Care to share the mods?
  20. Dear All, I'm starting a crazy project that should be fun: let's call it "The CrazySub". What is that watch? A Noobmariner? Let's see: Yes, it is having the genuine tag with the correct serial, so it is a genuine Noobmariner Ok, now that is weird though! It came back from a first travel with lug holes That's all for now, the CrazySub is going to travel again
  21. According to what I have been told, it's no. Cheers Stephane
  22. Hmmm, that is interresting ! http://www.etayahonpo.jp/?pid=7698179
