Well, I'm not sure Gigantic is the right word as the watch is pretty small.
It's at my sister's place so I cannot make a side by side with one of our watches, but I'll try to remember it for the next time I go there.
Also bear in mind: old diamonds doesn't have any value compared to the new ones due to the way the stones were cut in those times.
Well, we've had the debate about Gary's and I keep saying it is a great alternative.
Of course, if you can pick a gen for 100$, and your budget allows it, go for a gen.
I hope they are real.
I wouldn't want to discover that my father offered a rep JLC from Trusty to my mother to celebrate my birth
Hmmm, wait, trusty didn't exist in the 60ies
Hi All,
I'm not sure I ever post some of these photos.
My sister and I are keeping these watches as a souvenir from our Mother and Grand Mother who passed away.
Among them is a Jaeger Le Coultre Joaillerie that we've been told is platinium.
Of course, it still runs perfectly after 50 years
I thought it was nice to post it here
Cheers
Stephane
Hey Laz, you try to quit Rolex?
As you know I'm not a Pam fan but some of them can't be avoided...
Ok, a good 196, is a must (I think you know who's selling one, right)
A 29 too
And a Black Seal will probably become my quest in 2009...
Good luck
Thanks Taka...
I dreamed to have another K2222 CrystalLess watch though...but if it so close (as I noticed when checking the gen too) then better leave it like that
Woke up this morning with an irrestible envy for a Cavallino day.
One of the best rep I own and that I'm happy not to have sold at the end.
By the way, does anybody know if this one feature single or double AR in the real life?
One more incredible review/test.
As someone said, you put the bar so high, I doubt it will ever be reached
SD, you must be joking ...come on, tell us.
You lie to us: you are working for a professional magazine and you are a watchmaker in fact, aren't you ?
Anyway, I learned a lot in this test, like in your previous ones, and can't wait for your next one
Congrats and many thanks
Cheers
Stephane
