  1. Dear All, On april 24th, I went to my city oldest Rolex AD. I asked them a quote for a service for my 16600 and for a 93160. They called back today, may 10th, with the following prices: - Service 396
  2. The Clown-Master II for sure and all the bling-blings
  3. I love it too mate. And you are so right: '...every rolex lover should buy at least one gen someday' The DJ start to grown on me aswell
  4. oh, by the way, wearing Cronsell's Chopard
  5. @ BT: congrats on finding the crown I think I found one too now. That is a gen. I was about PMing you for my actual one, but you seem to have it ...if not feel free. Cheers Stephane
  6. Very nice story and a beautifull watch. I know what you mean "almost done with this hobby". But you are right, there are some great relationship that can be build in this community. I wish you all the best and sincerely hope you'll see the finish line. Having said that, open a blister from Panerai must be hard ...you don't see these each day Cheers Stephane
  7. SD4K, what can we say if not THANKS. Another incredible test. This one almost made me want a Breitling
  8. Same here. The spare screw that is in the screw driver is black by the way
  9. Very nice review Laz and great buy. Enjoy it.
  10. That is a wonderfull photo indeed. Thanks for sharing. (Laz, do you still wear it ? )
  11. I fully agree with you Carl. It's the best explanation so far for the differences. I can't believe the CN manufacturers are unable to reproduce 1:1. They surely are. By the way, here is my 3135 from a 16600
  12. Well, 398 oor more will stop me to add it to my watch box for sure Allthough the design start to grow on me too.
  13. My Dear IceBerg, I thank you very much for this nice comment. From my experience, none of the members known as Rolex experts are saying they are. Most of them even say they are not, and me I'm constantly saying that I learn a lot (which will probably be the case untill I die). But I still remember your wonderfull statement about the clasp of my genuine Sea Dweller (with box and papers, from Amsterdam's main AD) being fake. I'll bear in mind that if I want advices on Rolex, I'll PM you right away instead of By-Tor or RepAustria in example. Warm regards, Stephane
  14. Yes we're nuts !!! I have nothing else on the radar but the projects: a perfect sub, oops, a best sub, 16610 a beater "16800" Finish that bloody 1680 couple a Marina Militare Destro very aged put a 6 MM crown on RepAustria's 16710 As for a new gen purchase I'm still thinking about a SnowFlake of course. Reps: it will depend on what comes out but I'm really a Rolex guy so I doubt I would buy anything else.
  15. Indeed, and for us new members, it is not easy to put our hands on the old ones
  16. Oh, so there are watches that are called AP? I thought all watches were Rolex
  17. Once you know everything about it, pls post a full tutorial ...I'll follow the teacher and get one
  18. Wow, Pug, that is serious photography!
  19. Tuesday I have to go for the Great White again! Now with correct case back not yet aged to my taste but soon will be (thanks guys, you know who you are). A genuine 93150 (but still with rep endlinks as the 580 do not fit the MBW 1665 ) And here a new wrist shot that french speaking/reading members will enjoy
