  1. I have the blue one (from TTK) and though I do not like the watch I would say that the dial is incredible. Cheers Stephane
  2. That is true...but even more important is to be patient, very patient. Also to be prepared to be disappointed from time to time (delivery sucks, watch not as expected,...) Nothing is as frustrating as this hobby some times. When that happens, move forward is the only way to go to trully enjoy it on a longer term.
  3. Great news SD4000! Sounds like our BT will end with a splendid Explorer II soon then
  4. hey, I like that comment BT. A member and good friend of RWG always says "Stephane, don't be too anal! There are variations in dial prints and font boldness in genuine too". Sounds like you agree on that and the good news is I can wear my Noob with it's fat date font Cheers Stephane
  5. Amazing how some watches are forgotten. The "modern" Explorer II deserve much more attention indeed. Thanks for the great pictures once again BT. Gen dials are really making a huge difference. Your photo showing the contrast between the hour markers lume and hands shows that very clearly. Unfortunately, luming the hands is a risky task as they might turn out to be too "fat". I have a question: would genuine hands fit the mvt ? Cheers Stephane
  6. Hi Daneel, Welcome indeed. I would have said exactly what Andrew said... Enjoy the hobby and follow your own desires. Cheers Stephane
  7. My god, Andrew. This is a perfect review. Splendid job. I sure hope we could see more reviews of this quality here. Thank you very much. Cheers Stephane
  8. Mezz, As discussed, I had a closer look to your pics about the Super Dome. I took both my Clark and Genuine in hands while looking at yours but, sorry to repeat, I can't be sure if yours is a gen or not. I hope some real EagleEyed expert will shime in. On the other topic, seeling the parts. Don't do that. You will regret it. Cheers Stephane
  9. Hmmm, couldn't find Ubi's mini review but looked at your comments in BT's review... Thanks. ...and I still want mine to be done, so feel free
  10. Now I hate my CG !!! Well done Freddy. It never was a watch I checked out and wanted to mod but now it seem to me that mine is way off
  11. Ziggy, Lately I learned to appreciate your incredible sense of integrity, discovered how much you permanently help us in calling out "self declared experts and modders". ... and now you leave? Your decision really adds to my sad feelings seing new scammers coming here and so many useless threads on RWG. It is in no way a good thing for the community nor for RWG. From a wonderful watch forum, it might become just another forum without members like you or Ubi's contribution. I sincerely hope you will be back after a holiday break and that you will keep an eye on RWG in the meantime. I send you and your familly my best wishes for Christmas and hope that the new year that will start soon is a great one. I see your open letter like a sign: let's finish 2007 and it's lot of disputes on RWG now and look forward for a better 2008. Kind regards, Stephane
  12. Thanks Kruzer. Very usefull. Great information for every one here.

  16. These are nice looking twins Kruzer. And, yes, what would you say about the differences between the rep dial lumed by Ziggy and the gen one ?
