Ok...PO !!! So, finaly fitted that rubber band on it. No, it is not fitted very well. I have Jules Borel spring bars (1.8 x22), WD 40, could set it up but... One side is perfect, the other just pops out. It is definitely missing some rubber on on end. Anyway, let's go

What's the correct crystal for the MBW 1665

I think RepAustria means Flat is correct for the Great White. At least that is what I have been told. Cheers Stephane -

I have a little secret Two years ago I cut my cigarette consumption by 50% I was saving to get my self a genuine 16610...then I found reps on the net, worse, then I found RWG So, the entire saving dedicated to the genuine 16610 is now converted into reps. The other secret is that I have all the ones I trully desired now As I am not into trendy/new watches, I will continue to collect vintage Rolexes and get some nice others of course. But based on the saving from cigarettes only (I have a spreadsheet that indicates if I'm over or fine in the budget). Cheers Stephane

Hi Laz, I'm never been a fan of DJ but thought I would love DD... I got this one from Andrew. It is much too small and would be great for my wife, but she doesn't want it. At the end of the day I wore it one or two times only and managed to f**k the bracelet on top of that. So it sits in a cabinet here ! Cheers Stephane

Hi All, With my latest arrival, I couldn't resist to post a new picture Cheers Stephane

Very good point Sub0. That is why I called it Ferrari 002... I agree with you. Pam are something else, for sure. My brother in law owns a Ferrari by Cartier...which I think is the worst combo. At least, with the Fer/Pam it looks like an Italian piece

Thanks guys for your nice comments. It seem we share the same kind of "Should I or Should I not" As a matter of fact, Pix, it's big but ok. Compared to the SFSO e.g. it's quite the same feeling. Suprisingly, the squarish shape doesn't make it bigger. Cheers Stephane

Happy Birthday Ubi. May today and all following days bring happiness and wellness for you and yours. Cheers Stephane

Dear All, Here is a pictorial (not a review) from the Panerai Ferrari 002 that is way overdue. I ordered it from TTK on the last day of march 2007. The deal was nice, as usual, no comments needed here Why did I wait so long to post some pics? My theory is that I got this one because of: - The hype - TTK's incredible pictures showing a SUPER Rep so close to the real thing (and it is) - The Ferrari symbol - The beautiful design of the watch Although I do wear it, I can't seem to get exited about that watch. I have no idea why. It is one the best build and closest to the genuine rep I have in my current collection though. I'm not disappointed at all. It's a mystery to me, I'm simply not exited...but would not get rid of it of course. The watch As mentioned, the deal was smooth and I got what was agreed for. In the package I found both the leather and the rubber strap on deploying buckle. They both looks beautiful and well finished. Of course the leather one doesn't look anywhere close to a Ferrari 355 custom made by V V's incredible strap Changing the strap is very easy by the way, for a change It's an Asian 28k which is beating in this watch. No issues at all, it keeps great time. Something different though: when setting up the time and date I have a "solid" feeling. The crown is smooth and doesn't feel loose or like it is going to fell off. The date has no issue either (with super macro shots, maybe, but not with a normal human eye). I cannot say anything wrong about it basically, so why not post picture only for once? Cheers & Thanks for reading. Stephane The pictures Please do not reply quoting the pictures as there are quite a lot and it would mess the speed of the thread and the entire forum. Thank you very much.

Start Of The Week Wrist-Check (Aug 6-7, 2007)
Stephane replied to Victoria's topic in General Discussion
Hi Tom, After hesitating and getting some advice, I went for the blue one (thanks Ubi!). AR: I have no idea how to judge that. Again, the only obvious AR I saw on reps are the Fer002, the UPO, the 3717... But compared to a gen blue Breitling Avenger AR it's very very light on the AM reps. The MBW AP RO I didn't really look at that, and for sure won't say if it has single, double or strong AR. Honestly, I don't really mind about that. What I can say is that it seem to have AR to me but more important it looks/feels very special on the wrist. Like having your first gen after 10 reps...strange feeling. I now understand what Ubi, Euno and other a lot of other members are trying to pass to non AP RO MBW owners. = GET IT ! Cheers Stephane PS: there is a bracelet issue for small wrists. Check Ubi's thread. -
Start Of The Week Wrist-Check (Aug 6-7, 2007)
Stephane replied to Victoria's topic in General Discussion
Dear All, Some times you change your mind, isn't it, and say "Ok, I have to wear this one now" And, when a package arrives from TTK, well I can't control myself . . I open it ...hoping... . . ...that it will contain the watch I had so much difficulties to decide to get ! . . It is ! Yipeee. . . The minute I saw it and touched it, I knew it was something special. . . So I had to take two quick pictures (sorry for the bad quality, it surely doesn't give a correct image of what it is in person). . . So, I'm happy now: . . I have an Audemars Piguet (1875) and it is a Royal Oak Jumbo (MBW) . . And will have a classy new watch to wear tomorrow too for Mademoiselle V's Bday (it has GOLD screws) . . Here we go: . . Cheers Stephane -
Congrats Tribal. Looks very nice, splendid... Cheers Stephane

Hi Colin, Welcome to the board. As Cornerstone says, please look around and read. In the Rolex section you will find tons of information about Rolex. We don't call them fake byt the way, but reps The way you word your first post shows that you are very very new to reps. So, before you commit to buy whatever Rolex, again, read for a day or two and then ask again ... Cheers Stephane
