  1. Allthough I am never wearing it, I wouldn't sell it. Looks great right out of the box... Cheers Stephane
  2. Wow, for the first time we disagree... If I had purchased a 1665/1680 back in the early 70ies or 60ies, and knowing that sending it to a Rolex Service Center would result in changing the dial, I would never have send them to these idiots. Imagine sending your 1665 and get it back with a modern SD dial So, the question would be: would a watchsmith you ask to service your watch relume it ? I don't think so... Anyway, it's again a matter of taste. I prefer a rep that looks very old (love scratches and hairlines). Cheers Stephane
  3. Delta, That was quite stupid...sorry. What I wanted to say is that working 80 hours a week is not insane as long as you like it. I'm among these people that are lucky enough to have full 24 hour exiting days. Work, fun, necessities...it doesn't make any difference how much time I spend in one of them. As long as the business I'm running and paid for is healthy. I also wanted to say: keep spare time for fun. Could be great diners, time with your kids if any, time with family, s$x with your GF/Wife, beers or wine with friends... Cheers Stephane
  4. Delta, As you mentionned it takes a minute to set the time. So yes you are crazy...not to take at least that minute for you addiction everyday ! Oh, and by the way, working 80 hours a week is normal: - Set up the time for the watch of the day: 1 minute - Sleep: 6 hours (360 minutes) Total: 361 minutes a day Total available minutes in a day: 1.440 minutes Remaining minutes: 1.079 (17,98 hours) Total remaining available hours a week now: 126 Total eating time a week: 7 (hours) Remaining: 119 (hours) Working hours a week: 80 Remaining hours: 39 hours 39 hours a week or s$x is 5 and a half hour a day...way too much for any GF Take the time for your watches Cheers Stephane EDITED: this must be my worst post ever

  8. Well, a Fiddy is certainly a good choice (like says V, the gent ). Enormous on the wrist, impossible to not see it unless you attend a Blind Association Evening Still good taste to my opinion. There is another one that people always notice when I wear it, the Montblanc TimeWalker Chrono Hope this helps. Cheers Stephane
