  1. Finally decided to go for something else today.
  2. Thanks so much BT... Classics never die I guess It's such a pity the genuine are out of range...but in the end, this franken isn't far from it and did not cost an arm and a leg I think it's time to promote the fact that one can own a pretty copy at a reasonable price. I have been buying very expensive parts, like a Gen Rolex Super Dome and the result is ...great but not so much better than a Clark
  3. Oh my god, each time I see a PO I want a gen ... A beauty Robbie! Well your photos are never boaring...always great to see them. Compared to most of you guys I feel ashamed. I couldn't quit this one for the last days. The Great White is my all time favourite So I guess I am a little boaring now, isn't it
  4. That is why I stopped looking at these items... I much prefer a 600$ franken which is 90% accurate then a 3000$ one which is 93,333 % accurate. And, by the way, only a gen is 100% accurate if untouched by services...so what is the point? Our hobby should remain below the 1K for a franken. Just my 2 cents of course
  5. +1 here But I guess that they will be beaten in five years from now ...at least I hope
  6. Oh, well, what can we say. That is a very important information Trib'. Thanks a lot for sharing with the community.
  7. I agree with you. Your top 3 is very very nice indeed. I wish I could fall in love with a Pam one day....though
  8. I have no knowledge about Daytonas but this seems to be a gen to me Congrats to the builder and owner...so many gen parts and fine tuning is really all our hobby is about
  9. Thanks Colin Finishing the week-end with the third baby of the trilogy, my favourite one Now monted on a gen 93150 with 580s and soon getting a slow beat probably.
  10. Yes, true but that is done bu a mystery modder and not easy to achieve for common guys like us !
  11. Continuing my 1665 Trilogy week-end with the Double Red now!
  12. Wow, some great watches again here and some splendid photos... This week-end is the right time to wear my 1665 Trilogy: Single red to start, followed by the double red and the great white... Sounds like a sexy plan isn't it ? Let's start with the SR with genuine super dome and vietnamese bezel + + + a lot of parts and craftmanship
  13. Splendid ...are we going to have the entire dream team toghether again ? Can't wait to see you guys !
  14. Hey Colin Would be fantastic if you could join in Bratislava Bah, Brussels will be for another year but before that I'm sure I'll be in Stockholm again...ready to test The Soap Bar again. We went there with my boss on tuesday and there were like 50 girls from a University...very nice atmosphere...allthough I could be their father Cheers and keep us posted in the Bratislava thread or email or phone or PM Cheers Stephane
  15. For me too. Imagine 10 years ago they operated Brazil/Europe/Australia...and were based in Toronto
  16. Hello eveybody, My travel pal and I want to move around more often Flying is not expensive anymore, at least from certain cities to certain cities. So, we decided to visit Laz in Slovakia (Bratislava) in march. That is a long overdue visit I didn't check the prices from SkyEurope airlines for other origins, but as an example, from Brussels it cost 80
  17. Hey all, Back from Stockholm It was my third time there and I must say that even if it is for business (meet my boss who flies from Toronto to Stockholm where he runs a similar business to the one I run for him in Brussels), I had a great time. I would like to thank McRae for his delicious company on monday. You rock, and my pal and I had a great night with you . Hope you too! I'm a bit sorry I couldn't meet you Fitmic or you LeGambleur...but there is hope! 1. My boss and us agreed we must meet more often in Stockholm ...might be every 6 weeks... 2. You are more than welcome to the next Brussels GTG 2009 in may (more informations to come soon). Anyway, if any Swedish member is reading this, please let me tell you this: I enjoy Stockholm more and more. It is a beautifull city (we stayed at the harbour, close to Berns) and people are incredebly nice and warm. Ok, ok, girls are lovely too...it's not a legend See you soon hopefully. Kindest regards, Stephane
