  1. Intime.co is Ryan - and he's one of the best, if not even the best, TDs around! Quick, reliable, very good service and customer care. It's safe to buy from him.
  2. Try: http://www.scotchwatch.com Expensive, be careful. But a guy with very good sources!
  3. Complete agree! I would buy it ASAP if they rep'ed it correct. The problem is: they don't have a movement with correct position of the subdials. The PR subdial is not the problem, it is always on "full" and so a faux PR is ok. The running second at the 9 needs a correct position and therefore a newly modified movement. I think they don't see the market for this because the wrong version is sold as it is. And it is not much sold.
  4. Gen are offered sometimes on eBay or Chrono24.de. Decent priced? Don't hope for that the next 3 or 5 years. And you are lucky: this is not a limited edition watch! Yes, a rep would be nice. And not so difficult I think. The existing Petite Prince versions need some update. I quiet sure they will rep this watch. But we have to wait.
  5. Impossible to rep. Forget about it. Read a lot here or in other forums and after that decide which rep watch to buy. But this one will never be rep'ed correct. Which site does not work? Look here or in other forums for links to the TDs (trusted dealers). Their sites work.
  6. 500$ is the market value of a real swiss ETA 7750 if you calculate the price of the movement, shipping from EU and the cost for a watch smith's work to put it into your watch. If you want to buy it yourself take a look at eBay. You can also look for gen IWC 79320 which is in fact much better than the "normal" ETA 7750. Price around 700$ plus shipping plus watch smith. If you change the movement after buying the watch with the A7750 (what I reccomend you to do) you can sell the A7750 in the rep forums, it's worth around 100$. And YES, an ETA 7750 is some universes better than an A7750 and worth the money! It's only I woudn't trust the chinese boys, they sometimes sell some very strange "real ETA 7750"...

    Iwc 5002

Yes. Did it with my 5002 and it is nearly quiet now. Keep in mind: it's a rep, it will never wind up as smooth as the 51111... And it's not so good manually winding an automatic watch every day.

    Iwc 5002

You fixed the rotor and handwind it? Why? A small drop of oil to the bearing of the rotor will stop the noise for a year or two.
  9. No, that's not usual. 20 winds is half the complete power reserve and even if you didn't move yesterday it should run for 24 hours with that. Keep in mind: it's not the best way to wind an A7750 manually. Normally you give a stopped A7750 2-3 winds and/or some swirls and the automatic should do the rest for you over the day. Possibly you don't move enough during the day so it isn't wound up enough. But I think your main problem will be your heart and your health if you move so few... :-)
  10. A beautiful summer watch!
  11. No, a tube and a crown isn't that hard to find. Just try some watch smiths.
  12. The IWC 5001 is repped bad. biggest flaw: the position of the subdials is wrong. I would choose another IWC.
  13. I think you will not get anything. You will only loose your money. ONLY and ever buy from trusted dealers of this or other forums!
  14. I hope they rep the 3777 Petite Prince Chrono in a short time! The base 3777 is available at a high level, so the only trick will be the dial (with correct sundial blue) and the case back. Not to forget the hands, but that should be easy.
  15. Yes, but they are worth the money! They are gens because Laco was one of the Big-5 producing Pilots for German Luftwaffe, like IWC, Lange, Stowa and Wempe! Be careful what you order: the "normal" 45mm (Saarbrücken or Westerland) have a "wrong" crown. Only the "Mini Replika" has the correct form of crown and the better strap. But this version has a crystal case bottom, which is complete wrong. The original Beobachteruhren have a metal case bottom - like Lacos "Saarbrücken" or "Westerland". A great pity! So order a "Mini Replika" with additional metal case bottom if you like a very accurate gen 45mm Beobachteruhr. Laco is flexible, they can deliver.
  16. Take a Laco, they have them up to 45mm (or even 55mm if you take the official Replika!). The IWCs on Jacksonste are... not good, friendly said.
  17. Cool! I definetely need a Sub - and such a bracelet! Gesendet von meinem iPad mit Tapatalk
  18. OK, I found it. The 7 has serifen at the gen datewheel. Really "visible" at a distance of 2m or more I wouldn't say. But for sure a little flaw which I'll correct when I'll change the crystal to gen. Datewheels are not expensive and I can source gens. But it is work to change them, the worst is putting of the hands and setting them back.
  19. Possibly he didn't understand?!?
  20. Is there any comparing pic with both date wheels? Would be nice and help me to understand the difference!
  21. A fantasy copy of the Portuguese F. A. Jones Tourbillon. Crap. Sorry.
  22. As I said on RG: I hope these pics are not really showing the new release! OK, the color of the dial is much better than the dial of the PVDed version. But PCLS was always kidding us with a wrong or photoshopped color since the 5019 came out... The case is not brushed and this is a big flaw. But even better if it is a real ceramic case than the PCDed case. Has anyone experiences in polishing a ceramic case? The mentioned weight must be wrong because 144g is the weight of the steel version. The ceramic version is much lighter! The "premium" strap is - crap. Wrong color and the threads of the fabric are not parallel to the spring bar. But ok, I have my actual 5019 on gen strap so I can switch easy. If the rotor shown in the pic is really inside the watch, it is a good improvement. Now I'm waiting for some better pics by other TDs, possibly some real QC pics.
  23. Then IWC changed it from 3717 to 3777. The lume on gen 3777 is almost flat. Gesendet von meinem iPad mit Tapatalk
  24. Ah, ok, didn't see this. Sorry. Gesendet von meinem iPad mit Tapatalk
  25. I think it's rep. Gen IWC dials don't have such thick/embossed and rounded indices, they have complete flat indices. And the colour of the lumed indices doesn't differ from the colour of the other indices. Possibly it' gen but then (I think) it's relumed. Also the indices in the subdial shot are too grainy in my opinion.
