Just wanted to reiterate the positive feedback on SSTEEL. Micky has just finished modding my vintage Daytona 6263, installing a Yukiwatch dial and J&K crystal. There were numerous difficulties encountered during the modding process (none attributable to Micky), but he found a way to make things work, with great communication throughout. He is highly recommended, and I will be shipping off my recently acquired Fifty Fathoms with misaligned 12 marker to him for straightening. Thanks again Micky. Cheers Mate!

Duct tape doubled over works really well - read about this technique on one of the forums. A guy mentioned that he uses duct tape to open all his watches. He visited a jeweler one day who was having difficulty unscrewing the back of a watch. The guy went to his truck, grabbed some duct tape, back inside the shop and opened the watch. Jeweler was amazed, so the guy hands him the roll of duct tape on his way out the door. Funny story.

hazey, Guess I got the last Asian 44mm Abyss in yellow from Toro. I also have an IWC Mark XVI Spitfire in route from Joshua. Hope my watch doesn't have the same issue that you describe. What kind of marks are on your watches?

Greetings, I saw Zeppelin in Tampa in '77 for three songs before the heavens opened up and a riot ensued. They flew into the stadium in a helicopter, started 20 minutes early (no opening act), and played Celebration Day, The Song Remains The Same, and Nobody's Fault But Mine. Page wore mirror sunglasses and lit up the stage with his sunburst Gibson and cherry red doubleneck guitars before the mayhem ensued. I left the stadium unscathed with my friend, hailed a cab and got caught up in one massive traffic jam in the city. Our taxi broke down and the couple sharing the ride with us lit up a fattie before we finally made it back to the hotel.
