  1. They have been discontinued sadly.
  2. Yes, search for stainless steel spring bars which specifically state to have stainless steel internal springs, and parts.
  3. Yup, you are right M, I misread the Op's post. Probably due to you know what, its getting a little tiring.
  4. If you are trying to set the date whilst the time is between 10PM and 2AM, you may of caused some damage, this is highlighted in the A7750 user guides, and a common problem found by those who do not read the advice on how to look after the movement.
  5. Welcome aboard, and Hei from Kuopio
  6. I wish I had done my homework too Pete, we both got stung on those parts. I have since found a Swiss supplier of them for a fraction of the cost of that batch, but at least those were Swiss, and not Asian. The movements need pretty much completely stripping down to change too, so I serviced these whilst doing so.
  7. You damn liar, I and many of members here know you are here to cause trouble for me, so don't think for one minute you are being welcomed here Stu, you are responsible for all the crap I am having to deal with right now across the fora, so thanks for that. I tried to be a gentleman with you, but you couldn't do the decent thing and answer the phone, or reply to my messages, or PM's I have sent you over the months. Grow a pair and jog on!
  8. Happy Easter Mike, and everyone else Peeled the potatoes earlier for our Easter meal, got the inlays coming round, thats the only time I'm allowed in the kitchen lol.
  9. Close call. Ensure you are using the correct size spring bars, and of good quality, also ensure the spring bar ends are positioned correctly in the lug holes, sometimes these holes become worn, so check them with a loupe.
  10. Stuart Bell Trolling by Micky.!, on Flickr What a clown.!
  11. Halifax on profile, and pickledbeetroot's url is Stu's business website.
  12. My success on there was obviously too much for them to handle. 99% positive feedback, and one moaning mini about a budget build that didn't end up as he wanted resulted in the witch hunt. Telling them what they wanted to hear got me banned, crazy mindless, unprofessional fools, they have cut their noses off to spite themselves.
  13. Thanks for everything Stu and your followers/sheep.
  14. Great intro, you like many learn the hard way, but at least you are here now
  15. 2836-2 clone with decorated bridges/gears.
  16. Not quite today Andy, a job that should of been done today has taken much longer than expected, so will get your PPP mod started before the weekend, I have found to do it right, and the best possible finish I will remove the insert from the bezel assembly, and remove the pearl, then remove old bezel paint after a soak in acetone, and then start with the first PPP coating To see the various stages and some pop samples, and WIP shots, take a look at the link below.. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gsi-r/sets/72157651682839491/
  17. Enjoyed putting this one together, it proved a challenge but we got there, if you want the PPP mod in the future Andy let me know, I have the correct paint in stock now Anita's Platinum 3D Metallic Paint by Micky.!, on Flickr
  18. Welcome aboard and hello from Finland
  19. You could try one of these.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Watch-case-wavy-rings-springs-washers-parts-repair-/201314753579?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2edf4b5c2b
  20. Looks like it could well be adhered to the actual dial face. It maybe possible to manipulate the logo without having to remove the hands and dial looking at that, if the adhesive used is like GS Hypo then it will be flexible, and will allow minor movement with a manipulation tool.
