portuguese is very very close to gen! the only prob is the movt. i think. From my experience with my portugese, the power reserve is lower than eta7750, only enough over night. And the rotor is noisy so i had to lubricate it, but its still noisy compared to etas. Otherwise visually almost perfect! Only difference i saw are the subdial pins which are bronze in rep and silver in gen, but nobody ever will notice that
heres a comparison photo

Imo, if you want something which completely better than the reps(in terms of quality, finish, looks etc..) then you should spent at least 5k$ and go with brands like girard-perregaux, rolex(new ceramic models), panerai, glash
just check if the caseback is tight with rubber ring inside and the crown is screwed also tight, it should be no problem with swimming, snorkeling...trust me
omg, you all take it soo extreme, the only difference i can see that the bezel font is too thick and white-gold rings around hour markers appear to be thicker which give the watch less gen look, otherwise its great imo.I'd buy it if bezel font was correct
well people i think you are all kids because of discussing about tastes of other people, each to its own.
i personally wouldnt wear that( ), but it would go well if you have a fitting lifestyle......
i say its gen
steelinox inside of clasp is deeper engraved than numbers
crown and overall finish also looks excellent
not 100% sure about endlinks but they also appear to be gen
i checked yesterday the hbb with polished ceramic bezel at AD, i must say it looks awesome, love the way it shines.
is the rep ceramic bezel as good as the gen?
