It has been a labor of love and frustration to source all the parts in this build. Anyone whose attempted to build a two tone Rolex knows these projects are not easy nor cheap. Thanks Om3ga_Guy and Rudy40 for helping on this build. We've all spent way to much time reading about these 16613, lol. And of course thank you Misiekped, Mike, for putting all the pieces together. You've been extremely helpful over the past couple of months with the details of this build. The watch turned out better than I imagined. Anymore pictures of the crown front facing? Curious to see how the raised crown sits within the CG.

So many problems? Just have it serviced and you shouldn't have issues. Yukis definitely require a good service whereas an ETA/clone you can get away without one initially. Many people have yukis with no issues.

Mini Rant - In line with Daniel's "Scammer in our midst"
ceocorona replied to panerai153's topic in General Discussion
Yup. Have my own list and I get the last laugh when I get a PM on future listings. Buyer: "I'll take it! It's my graillllll!!! What's your PP?" Me: "Sure give me 5 mins and I'll send it... (never)" [emoji48] -
There's also a thread on RWI that has pictures etc

Mini Rant - In line with Daniel's "Scammer in our midst"
ceocorona replied to panerai153's topic in General Discussion
I agree with all said. Unfortunately buyers will continue to pull those "negotiation tactics" as long as buyers accept them. I recently had a buyer from UK PM to buy some iPhones I had for sale. He haggled my price down. I agreed to take less then I wanted since he was buying all 3. When it comes to payment he sends a "deposit" and said he'll pay in a few days. WTF?! This was never brought up doing the negotiations and payment discussion. I should have walked away and refused his purchase. Just on principle. Being the nice guy I am I didn't and waited. It's buyers like this that make me more selective with my sales. I am to the point where I rather not sell then deal with the sales BS. -
Don't worry... I have my own super build lol [emoji41]

Glad all you posted this month. Means in December when Mike finishes my project I'll have an easier crowd to beat, hopefully! Lol

Just got myself a yuki 3135 with gen parts overhaul. Going right into my franken 16613.

That stache should have been included. Haha

Tudor Black Bay V2 vs V3, any difference?
ceocorona replied to Rivi1969's topic in Other Brands Area
Back on topic... So given the description of the v3 on the TD site it's safe to assume that's the "best" version? I know the latest version doesn't always mean the best. I know v1s had some with mismatched lume on the dial and hands and issues with the bearings in the clasp. Seems like a solid rep for the money. -
It's "Tapatalk" and good luck in your search... You're off to a great start with your two threads asking the same question [emoji106] Haha

You continue to amuse me. I don't need to know anything about you nor do I care. You having trouble finding a known forum modder is already a sign that you're going to be disappointed in the wait time for a build. "ASAP" in the rep world isn't common place. You generally wait for anything worth having. Here's "contributing positively"... go spend your days on the m2m boards if you are so pressed for time. Although you could luck out and he has a watch already waiting for you to purchase. Maybe he's got a crystal ball and knew you were coming?

i am always amused when someone says they need anything related to reps "asap"

Perfect for a Rolex Hulk 116610LV Franken Project?
ceocorona replied to hunvaakaren's topic in The Rolex Area
very cool parts… Probably looking at a $2500 build min using those parts. Not too bad considering the gen price. -
Rwg has always been the most reliable forum. Seems like the other boards suffer more and more often now.

I hit 7 at my peak and have narrowed it down to two very nice builds. That's all I have wrist time for lol
-
"Who has the best sub..." Pretty sure it's only h-factory selling them and they are on v4.
-
No I know that. V3 is a no go period. I'm referring to the new sa3135 case
-
That's the vaguest answer ever. Haha. So will it take yuki crown position? I guess that's yet to be seen. V3 takes serious work, or so it seems from your venture. Really a shame it's not a direct fit
