Yes.. The genuine 116520 and 116500 are identical. Since Noob almost "always" build gen spec, their reps should be the same too. You won't know until you try though.

You can use a TC movement holder adapting the 3135 to 2824. -

Has anyone had success swapping out an SA3135 with a Gen 3135
hologramet replied to repenthusiast's topic in The Rolex Area
Gen 3135, SH3135 and SA3135 have the same outer dimensions. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk -

Remember that the BP one is larger than gen and "centers" the dial/movement in the case. You'll need to create a custom small "dial ring" e.g. from a nylon gasket.

My next project: 116600, done the right way.

D**N it! 116600 Noob v7 SA3135 is out of stock. Hopefully 116600 v8 A2824 uses the same case (as the Crown height should be similar...) Can anyone confirm? -

Dial and bezel from my own parts source. There is a ceramic insert now for sale on the bay. Should be an easy build. Lego. -

SO, it's finally time for a new crazy gen spec-build. After a Daytona w/ gen 4130, 16610 w/ all gen parts except for midcase, now we're going the way of the ceramics. Items will be as follows; ------------------------------ Noob v7 116600 SA3135 408 USD [ordered] Genuine 3135 (brand new) 2400 EUR. Hands NOS 175 USD [ordered] Dial NOS 650 USD [ordered] Ceramic insert NOS 650 USD [ordered] Gen 704-crown 100 USD + full tear-down of the 3135, and assembly, and water testing: 450 EUR w/ Mikael @ www.urdelar.se Keeping rep: Midcase, bezel assembly, crystal, tube, caseback, bracelet. ------------------------ Preliminary cost: 4300 USD It's definitely way better than the 12500 USD I paid for my gen (which I sold a couple of weeks later). 4300/12500 = 34,4% Franken cost.

Oh my! I wish you the quickest recovery, and... Compared to a lot of other valvular issues, this one is sorted out pretty quickly! Take care! /one who has had his battle with "unfair" genetics

The New Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight (58) 79030N

I agree.. Dial and hands finishing is quite subpar, original parts are next to impossible to source (and expensive).. One might as well buy the genuine one.- 61 replies
