Yes Arthur TRC was always the premier board and it was sad to see if fade away. MoaB yes Greg has a different perspective and it is wrong, he simply was not around when all the above happened. Ken

Mike a quick history lesson. The first true forum was TRC, the was a board before that but not a true forum. The Admin from TRC is the same man who is your current Admin. Around 10 years or so ago a member from TRC (Blade) broke off and formed the original RWG. The original RWG had a VIP lounge which was actually invisible from the rest of the board and was an invite from Blade only section, in VIP we (as well as enjoying the free beer and strippers) helped keep the board running smooth by putting the right word in the right ear at the right time (Big Brother )...no...seriously the VIP contained the boards leading members who were not actually part of the Admin team so Blade respected our opinions on the direction the board should take. Then one day Blade disappeared.... The situation we were faced with was the loss of all that we had built once the server fees became due, so we mounted an extensive internet search to try and find out where he had gone or what had happened to Blade. With the deadline looming and still no trace of Blade we started exploring our options for a new forum. At this point I approached the Admin of TRC about the possibility of hosting a new forum and after an initial reluctance we were lucky to convince him to take us on. A vote was put to the members of VIP and the Admin team about forming this board and the rest as they say is history. At the same time the board seniors were setting up this forum another new member of our board (with the aid of one senior member) was busily PMing members about the start up of his new board RWI, this was totally unsanctioned by anyone in the Admin team or VIP group and as it turned out the young member, come RWI Admin, ended up scamming a lot of people out of money. But again this is history as the last 2 Admins of RWI have done a respectable job and turned it into a nice forum. So anyway the day of reckoning arrived, the new RWG and RWI were formed on the same day and then....Blade came back...he paid the server fee's on the old board and then largely disappeared again. The old board turned into the wild west as Blade was the only one with the keys so no one could moderate the board. Then eventually Blade decided not to keep funding the old board anymore so the guys who had found their way there did the whole thing again and formed the 3rd RWG. Meanwhile after a spat on RWI a young member broke away set up RG scammed lots of members out of money and disappeared. Again it's history as RG has been run well for a while now by the new Admin. The only other piece missing is that after another spat Wrist Check was set up and that is basically where we are at now. Ken

Just a slight correction to your original post... RG actually spun off from RWI so RG is the younger forum. Ken

Just as an aside I never expect customers to pay by gift and I always pay the PP fees myself, it is after all only 4% Why should anyone ask you to give up your protection for such a small figure? Ken

In case anyone missed it a moderator has asked for all the hostilities to cease. I haven't read through the thread and I do not intend to....the next guy gets an official warning. Capice? Ken

Yes most CC's give you 120 days or more to lodge a claim. When there is a CC chargeback PP will do nothing to help, even if you can offer good info supporting your side of the transaction. Ken -

Yes I lost my own mother, although not directly from cancer, through a complication from cancer removal surgery. Ken -
Mike is a guy I always had a lot of time for and at one point put his name forward as an Admin team member. 2 years ago Mike was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer a condition that is not curable. The City of Hope paid for a bone marrow transplant (over 1 million dollars) which has give Mike some more time. Understandably Mike has all but dropped out of the replica watch scene now but what he does to help keep his mind off the constant pain is make pens, very nice ones too, take a look at his eBay store.... http://www.ebay.com/usr/penzrus I am currently trying to help him (along with our good friend offshore) to locate Rolex dials, Mike has a guy who can bend dials and watch parts to fit around a pen casing which he then resins over. If you are looking for a pen please take the time to look through what he offers. Ken

They return to sender when the item is undelivered, you need to contact the Post Office quickly and find out why. Sometimes they try to deliver when no one is home (and fail to leave notice) other times there may be a wrong address on the package. Ken

At the moment Rima it is mainly some selected bags and 1:1 is expensive, for example the standard Birkin I sell and has received rave reviews for 7 years is $280 a 1:1 Birkin is $1350 There is no full range of bags for any one brand that is 1:1 but Hermes have more than others, there is also no men's or luggage bags that are 1:1 at this time. Other than bags the other 1:1 items tend to be belts. Ken

Ok first up I did not say the was no 1:1, the fact is that the factories are turning out a quality they call 1:1 now (I hate the name but there you have it), however the line is much more limited than some dealers claim. In other words if every second item on a dealers site is called 1:1 then you just know it's bull. For example I do not list any 1:1 items on my site and only sell them on request. However AAA or AAA+++ or even Super Reps are all sales gimicks. Ken
