Thanks jpz, may try that just for fun. Watch is like new. Think I paid $250 for that thing. Impulse buy on vacation. I wear a lot of the TB silk camp shirts so I bought 3 of those watches to wear with "resort wear" and sandals. Of course long before I found this place. Now only Rollies. At the end of the day, I never really wore any of them. Always wore my gen Sub or DJ
Matt is awesome. He is presently building me a gold DD, and he can do basically anything. He has most everything in stock and you can add as many gen parts as you want. Plus he is a really good guy and is patient, responsive, and knowledgeable--a true professional. He will do modern or vintage or whatever. I can post some pics of the build if you want.
Too late she is now is pieces but appreciate the help. Getting ready to try Matt's suggestion not on the watch of course but on myself. With that I can skip my morning coffee and cigar, should get me wide awake and ready for the day. I did learn one thing. I will probably need to send my watches out for service, I do not have the eyes, skilled hands or patience....
Thanks guys if nothing else provided some entertainment. I still am just dumbfounded. I can't figure out how it is possible for this to work this way keeps perfect time backwards. Wish I had more tools. Been looking to order some but still shopping so all I have is small set screwdrivers. Well....and a hammer

Some pics. Please remember I could build a mouse or rat motor or tweak on golf clubs but first time I opened a watch. The date wheel goes upwards when setting it. Numbers correct order but moves up instead of down??

Hi, Took a gen quartz Tommy Bahama watch that I have worn maybe 3-4 times into my local jeweler to have a battery put in last night. When he installed the new battery it started going backwards: second hand, minute and hour hands. It worked fine last time I wore it, year ago maybe then battery died. The guy is clueless and basically told me to send it into Tommy B. He even charged me needless to say will never go back to that store. Anyone with any experience with this? Any help appreciated. I was putting some stuff together to donate for the raffle so this is for a good cause.
Thanks
Good morning, I did search around for answers before posting. Having a custom gold DD built with a bunch of gen goodies. Sourced a nice gen dark brown croc strap with gen gold buckle. However looking for a tan and a black croc strap also. Read many good review on Donerix straps. What do you think about using these straps on a DD with a gen buckle? Or other suggested sources.
Thanks
Nice topic, I have many more pairs of shoes (58) than watches. Pretty Diverse collection. Favorite brand is Ralph Lauren Polo. Some Colehaans, Allen Edmond's, Mephisto's, Ferragamo's, Mezlan's in the mix and of course boat shoe collection. Like Jordan athletic shoes. But my new favorites are my Nike Seahawk editions--being that I am from Seattle. I will post some pics off my phone.
No experience with presidential bracelet but same experience as pan 153 with 18 k bracelet both solid and TT gen oysters. Stretch and get loose after time.
