  1. LOL somehow I knew based on location you may respond that way I am on the road for work so sporting all my Seahawks gear on travel days. Don't like to wear my good suits on planes and airports so always wear sweat suits. Even working the Nike Seahawks shoes and of course field ready # 12 jersey. So first stop Wed was in San Fran thought I was going to get mugged and jacked for my Rolex. Lucky I am big guy or could have been bad. You should have seen some of the glares I got at SF airport Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Bright green and navy blue? U know Seahawks..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. ah the good old 80's glasses. I have more vintage sunglasses than watches-at least today. Lately buying more watches than glasses. Love the old school Revos and Vuanets and Ray Bans. Although some were pretty expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. IE problematic these days in many cases. Had to change browsers at work for 160 users because of all the problems with the "new improved" version. Makes my IT staff crazy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hello and welcome. Vancouver BC or WA? I am in WA state.
  6. What a gorgeous time piece. Love the touch of blue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. BK Sub today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. +1 I ordered both and like both but the BK sub c looks like the new sub in the store if that is what you are after. TC a beauty but more vintage look Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Me too, have a TC on the way as well. One of them is getting a strap and one will keep the bracelet.
  10. For me it was worth the extra coin. I do not really work on my watches...yet, so nice to have everything lined up by a pro. BK great to work with and his work is top notch. Responsive, helpful and quick. I am no expert, just like watches, since it is winter cannot really evaluate outside of crappy office lighting conditions, been cloudy here for weeks. Be able to tell better once weather improves and I can put the top down and go for a drive--and that is when I can really put it to the test. I can see the difference between the crystals pretty good in the car on sunny day with top down.
  11. thanks for replying help me out a little mbw? See that mentioned in other posts but when I searched... Nothing. I have seen a couple of Frankens that I loved but were already sold by time I saw them. Don't mind paying for right unit and with my limited knowledge and contacts and just starting to mess with my watches more likely to try and find one that is done. I do have something going on the bond sub with another member so now really looking for the GMT Pepsi. May just post in the WTB section and see what turns up Thanks for the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Only been here a short while so a NOOB. Really like the modern Rolex, but man lately after seeing all the vintage stuff, really want a 6542 and/or some kind of Bond Sub. I am obsessed now, think about a vintage Rolex all the time.....on line gathering information.....shopping..... Something like these or little more modern with Nato
  13. I have the Noob Sub C v2 that BK worked his majic on and love the watch, but does tend to have a slight hue on the cyclops esecially at the office with the overhead flourescents. Bracelet is top notch, nicer than my old gen Sub bracelet. Overall very happy with it and the work BK did on it.
  14. Yes, I agree. I was close the pulling the string on a $1250 scam job on line when I found this place. Got 2 great watches for about what that one POS would have cost me. So in my mind this place saved me a ton of money already, so paying $5 a month is a no brainer. Even though I am a noob, think it is important to support the cause, especially since I plan on sticking around. Finding good deals on quality merchadise is one thing, but the other benefit is all the knowledge/information and sharing of ideas--not to mention starting to develop relatioships with other members which is cool. 5$ a month is a great deal for all that.
  15. Nice watch Mike. especially for the price. As you know I am on the hunt for some vintage looking units with straps. Been some beautiful Frankens lately for sale but keep missing..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. little golf today so Garmin it is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Tried searching MBK 5513, nothing comes up. Have seen some posted in the sales forum but always sold before I see them. Where might I find these? Appreciate any direction here.
  18. That is a beauty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Did we ever get the information on the TD involved in this?
  21. Welcome, you should be happy with these choices, I especially like the TC. I too mainly only looked at gens, bought a couple of poor reps back in early 2000's but was not impressed so went back to buying gens. Found this place a few weeks ago and cannot stop reading, learning, and ordering. Very happy with the units I have received so far and have 2 more on the way. You can really learn a lot here.
  22. Welcome...half the fun is the anticipation of a new unit arriving
  23. Old school POLO green bottle. The original. Been wearing it since I was 13. Tried other fragrances but always go back to it. I wear it everyday. Probably a day has not gone by in 30 years that I have not had on the Polo.
  24. Wholly smokes I clicked the link. Check out those units
