Really? You think this is accurate of the gen lume color?

Once upon a time, earlier this year, I fell victim to the alluring concept of the replica watch. By simply typing the words "replica watch" on google, many sites came up, but none of the reputable ones you will find in this forum. Instead, you will be plagued by the biggest ripoff scam websites on the internet. I have discovered the largest watch ripoff umbrella on the internet. The group of internet based companies have the same swiss upgrade gimmick and are based primarily out of New York. If you buy from one of the following sites, you WILL be ripped off!! I almost fell victim to one of these rip off sites and thank god I found a reputable rep forum that saved me. Here is what I know: - The dealer will convince you to do C.O.D or Wire Transfer. - If you are out of the USA, they will say that due to security and fraud that credit card orders will not be accepted. They will convince you to do a money wire since that is the next safest method since you will have their business bank account information. Little do you know that the info provided is not actually a bank account!! It is a routing number where your funds are redirected several times until it ends up in a pre-paid debit/credit card company. The money enters the fraudster's prepaid debit/credit card where the funds are withdrawn immediately. These pre-paid accounts are set up all over the United States and are extremely hard to track. There are many aliases and phone numbers that these scammers use. They don't really have a base of operations and work off pre-paid cell phone numbers. They have set up a fake rep review site called http://www.fakereviews.com and http://www.replicainspector.com. The pictures used on these sites are of actual gen watches!! Not the watch(es) you may or may not receive. How do I know so much? I almost fell victim and actually wired funds to bluefakes. Luckily I have very powerful friends in the banking industry. With thorough investigation and persistance, I tracked to where the funds ended up. I not only got my money back, but ended up freezing several of their accounts and money returned back to other victims. Here is the list of the companies: GLOBAL REPLICA Additional Business Names: A Fine Luxury Time AFineLuxuryTime.com Allfakes Betterswiss BlueFakes Fullswiss Go Replicas Italian Fakes Jewelers Laststopwatch Limited Watch My Swiss Replica MySwissReplica.com New Replica Newwatch4u Nextswiss Nyswiss OnTimeFakes Precise Knock Offs Ravereplicas Redhotwatch Replicaceo Reproduccion Global Showtimereplicawatches Sizzlefakes SwissFreeze Zenithmotor I am really sorry that it took so long to compile this. I read about a victim on repgeek and got really angry. I really wanted to put the past behind me but something has to be done. I hope I am not too late to try and help others. These are only the companies that I know of under the same group. There potentially can be more. I have put together this information in hope that other people do not fall victim to these petty thugs. Jawo

I know!! I love their pics of actual gen watches.

They are at it again!! Bluefakes the Ultimate Scam Site. I can't believe these guys are still around. Since we are all on the topic of the best SD, I thought you would all get a kick out of this. Feel free to poke fun

As promised, here are the pics of Andrew's SD. I have posted these on another thread, but here they are again if you haven't seen them:

The Zigmeister should be receiving it this week. I will post pics as soon as I get it back.

I have researched this a lot and there is a lot of contreversy on what the proper lume color is. Some say that Panerai states that only C3 is used. I don't think this is correct since the 111E dial looks white like C1. Many people said that it is a mix of C1 and C3. Varying opinions on the ratio of mix. I have sent mine to The Zigmeister asking for 70% C3 and 30% C1. I don't know how accurate this is but I am hoping he will know.

I just picked up a 111E from both Davidsen and Angus. I must say that I am extremely impressed with the one from Angus. After all the rave and reviews, everyone seems to think this is the best version out right now. The only comments about the inaccuracies of this version is the lume color. What color should it be? C1? C3? Or a combination of both? I appreciate the input from you PAM experts. I am sending Angus' 111E to The Zigmeister for a relume and would appreciate the answer. Thanks!!!

Here are a couple I picked up from Andrew. They are both under a 100 bucks and he threw them in for me after a big order. The Patek has a functional power reserve. The Breguet has a fully functional perpetual calender.

This is my GMT World. It is matched to a gen leather strap. It transforms the watch. It is over with The Zigmeister right now waiting for Chieftangs Double AR treatment. I got the watch fully serviced, relumed and a datewheel swap. I can hardly wait to get it back.

I really don't notice any flaws except that the lume pearl isn't 100% like the gen. The gen is filled more with lume and is fairly flush. Aside from that, it looks pretty darn perfect. As to the watch fitting gen part? Not sure on that one. Again, I am no Rollie expert. I am sure that other members can elaborate.

I got my Super Sea Dweller from Andrew today. All I can say is that it far meets my expectations and more. The quality of the construction is absolutely fantastic. The lume pearl is better than the first initial pics he posted. The crown is thick and well detailed. The bezel is very good also with a very good feel when rotating. I am not a huge Rolex expert but I know what I like. This watch is red hot!!! I am no photo expert like pugs or by-tor but I am trying

I ordered a Super Sea Dweller from Andrew. It should be here on Monday. I will post pics once I get it.

Ditto for the Fiddy. The 111E though has a dial that is inaccurate. The fonts are raised and the lume is not so good.

I have also discovered that dishwashing gloves does a great job. It might seem silly but I was washing dishes and I thought to myself that man, these are damn grippy. Whalla!! I tried it, and it worked!!! Just put on the glove, and using your palm, apply light pressure and just unscrew. Once a little loosened, use your index and middle finger to unscrew completely.

Well after receiving my first Fiddy from Davidsen, I was very disappointed in the lack of quality control and finish of the product. I addressed my concerns to Davidsen and he showned genuine concern and shipped out a replacement which I received in just 5 days to Canada!! Here are pics of the first watch: As you can see the movement and decoration is a mess. The "Officine Panerai Firenze" is supposed to be yellow in color. A detail that was overlooked. The bridges seem to have many fine scratches on it as well. In the second pic, the lume while decent, is far from a The Zigmeister Superluminova application. I addressed these issues, and I am much happier with the new replacement. Here are pics of the replacement: As you can see, the yellow paint is where it is supposed to be. There still seems to be some fine scratches on the bridges. They are hard to spot unless under close magnification and at a certain angle. I am not sure if this is an inherit trait by other vendor's watches as well. The front looks quite spot on with a good crown and crown guard. AR is fantastic. Not too overpowering. The lume on the replacement is considerably better and is definately a superluminova application. All in all, I am very happy with the replacement. Davidsen while not perfect, still strives on keeping customers happy. His communication was great and as stated my other members, if you get a good Davidsen, you have got something very special.

You should first check the website of the transfered carrier. In my case, since I live in Canada, that would be EMS transfered to Canada Post. If you happen to see the same result, just make a call to customer service to do an inquiry. Sometimes packages miss a scan. I had a watch that was actually held at customs. Josh has a remedy for that too. 10 days is certainly reasonable to warrant a replacement. Wait a few more days until 2 weeks have elapsed. At that point, I am sure that Josh will take care of you. I have received all 50+ watches that I have ordered in the last 6 months and they always get to me eventually. Don't worry, everything will be fine.

I have a Tag Link that is experiencing some problems with the chrono function. When it starts, it runs fine. When I reset it, the needle does not go back to 12. It is advanced forward. It keeps advancing forward everytime I start and stop it. Any ideas?

Cost pricing? LOL. Lets see... $1.00 an hour for labour. Say 1 hour for watch assembly. $40 for the movement. $20 for the case and bracelet. Total manufacturing price is $61 sell to dealers for $150. Retail for $225. Not a bad gig. I am guessing with these numbers although I know average hourly labour rate in China is about $1. They are making money believe you me. No one in their right mind sells a product internationally with no markup. They are entitled to make money, no different then us. The Chinese are very good business men. For the same reasons why China now has the second largest ecomony in the world. Again, as I said in another thread... everything is about perceived value. If you think it is worth it and you like it, buy it.

I agree with this point. I have had no problems with ETA 2386 or 2896 movements. Rolex, Omega's etc.. The Asian 7750 though is really hit and miss. For me to buy a rep now, I have to really love it if it is an Asian 7750. It is hard to assure that the quality of the rep is going to be stellar when it comes out of the factory. Most factory workers make about a $1.00 an hour. Here is a quote from Business Week: The cost of Chinese factory labor is a paltry 64 cents an hour. Although that figure is rough, since it's pieced together from sketchy statistics, it's still the most thorough estimate ever compiled. It includes both wages and employer contributions for benefits and social insurance. And it covers not just city factory workers, who get the most attention, but the more numerous rural and suburban factory workers as well. For comparison, hourly factory compensation in the U.S. in 2002 was $21.11, and an average of $14.22 in the 30 foreign countries covered by the existing BLS report. This report was compiled back in 2004. I estimate a 30% increase since then. Not a big motivator for quality assurance. There is no doubt that they are making a killing. When I buy an Asian 7750, I have to bank and reserve for a visit to The Zigmeister. I have purchased a few ETA's off Ebay for $160 for a swap. While with The Zigmeister, I get the superlume, datewheel upgrade if needed and of course the movement swap. Roughly about $400 in parts and service. It might be a lot, but I feel a little better about the quality and love of the watch. Everything is about perceived value. If you think it is worth it, buy it. Here is my Cousteau with the mentioned upgrades. About a $800 bill.

I got a good one. How about a different serial besides 0035/2000? That would make me buy it alone.

Great pics and review!! I bought one too and got it sent to The Zigmeister for ETA swap, lume, datewheel swap, and now the crystal off to Chieftang for double AR. I also received a custom strap from HKTan. I will post pics when I get it back.
