  1. Watchmark, you want to chime in and let us know if you can obtain the engraved rotor individually from the factory? I think there would be a lot of interested members who would like one. Those who are interested please indicate it by adding a reply on this thread.
  2. Definately a super rep. I believe that this is one of the most accurate reps you can buy. I loved this watch so much I bought the gen. Here are some pics:
  3. I know that there are 2 factories manufacturing the HBB rotors. I believe that 1 of them is engraved. Are there any dealers selling the rotors separately and will it fit on the Asian fast beat?
  4. Hey, I just upgraded my membership. Will you see this Ken?
  5. I have ordered over 30 reps from Andrew. Everyone has reached me. I monitor every package through Canada Post and when it shows on the tracking that the item is out for delievery, I expect it that day. If I don't receive it for any reason, I call the post office and pick it up personally. Packages get sent to the same post office everytime if it is being sent to your home. Andrew is quite an honorable guy. I am very confident that he can work something out for you. Good luck.
  6. Andrew has told me that the Zenith Defy is in the works. This is the one watch I am really pumped about. The Concord C1 will be one I am gunning for too. I have tried to buy the gen through AD's in Canada, but no one has any in stock.
  7. My first experience with a rep was a very bad one and has already been posted as at thread titled "The Biggest Ripoff Umbrella on the Internet". Anyone who buys a rep from the recommended dealers on this forum will have a much better chance of feeling happy about their purchase than buying from one of the many scam sites and petty thieves that plague the internet. My very first purchased watch from one of our dealers was from Joshua and still remains as one of my favorite reps. I have had the datewheel swapped, had it relumed, fully serviced, double AR coated, and matched it to a genuine leather strap. It still worked out cheaper than buying a crappy "Swiss ETA 31 Jewel" Rolex from Bluefakes. Breitling Navtimer World GMT
  8. The watch was very well packed. It had multiple layers of bubble wrap and in a bubble wrap envelope. I have shipped a dozen watches to The Zigmeister this way and never an issue.
  9. I listed a Patek Power reserve a month back and ended up selling it to a member of this forum of whom I will not name. I sent the watch to him and everthing seemed ok for a week. I then got a message back from him indicating that the watch was defective and had stopped running. I don't know what the proper etiquette is here when it comes to guarantees or returns for pre-owned watches but I felt it was the right thing to do by offering the member a full refund including shipping costs. I just got the watch back today and when I looked at it, the hand for the power reserve indicator was cranked all the way pointing just past the max 48hr marker. I want to really think that the watch was truely defective but is it possible that the member overwound it manually and broke something? I am no watchsmith or techie watch expert, but I would appreciate it if you veterans could chime in on your opinions. All I know is that i keep all my watches in exceptional condition and it was working fine when I shipped it out. According to the online tracking for shipping, the watch was in the hands of the member for 8 days before I received the complaint that it was defective. What do you guys think?
  10. Here you go, picked it up for $1200. I think this watch is a fantastic buy. ETA7753 is worth it alone.
  11. 111E, more wrist action than a horny teenage boy.
  12. Miglia Chrono LE from Joshua on BOB. Could very well be my new favorite rep.

I just ordered mine from Silix too!!! I want some pics of the Coste pleeeease!!
  14. Only until China figures out how to rep human clones of ourselves with defective crown levers
  15. Came across this when I was searching for the Paul Picot watch. ioffers The pics and text seem like they are ported over from Andrew's site. Price is about double the going rate. You will notice other watches that are also on sale to the left also marked up considerably. What are your thoughts?
  16. All I can say is that if a dealer offers the waterproofing service, they should back up the service with a certificate or guarantee. There is no way to know whether the watch has been touched at all. I had a UPO waterproofed for free from Joshua. He had stated the only thing that is done is that the HE valve is glued shut with Crazy glue and silicone. I have taken the watch diving at 30 meters. Not terribly deep but still remained intact nevertheless. I frankly would never pay for the service unless I got pics of the watch hooked up to a pressure tester and a certificate of guarantee of water resistance to the depth and pressure stated in the service.
  17. The date wheel does look wierd. I am tossed about this one too. The 12, 3, 6, and 9 markers look like the correct thickness though. Here is mine for comparison:
  18. Hamilton Khaki Action Chrono Automatic Porsche Flat 6 Philip Stein Dual Zone Chrono
  19. The Zigmeister does full servicing and upgrades. Look up member The Zigmeisterzumba.
  20. The Zigmeister, The Zigmeister, The Zigmeister. The best of the best. He will hook you up. Instead of the 111H, I would highly recommend the 111E from Puretime (Angus). All you have to do is the relume with The Zigmeister. Here are pics:
  21. I purchased an Ultimate Arktos from Andrew about 3 months ago. Since I got the watch, the crown guard was defective and did not close properly. He has made an honest attempt to supply me with a replacement. He has shipped out 2 crown guards to me, but both were wrong!! They were completely different guards and not made for the Arktos. Andrew has stated that the manufacture of the Arktos has changed factories for the case and the lugholes are built incorrectly. I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to as where I can find a correct replacement? I have not worn this watch once and is really frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.
  22. Damn, I wish our New Years was 2 weeks long
  23. Okay, I have over 50 reps collected in the past year. Almost all of them have been purchased from Josh or Andrew. Reps aren't perfect, thus about 10 watches have been returned for quality related issues. Every single watch had reached its destination in China. All watches were replaced or repaired very promptly, returned to me without a hitch. Every watch I have ordered have been delivered to me. Had a problem with customs once, and Joshua made a repair invoice for me that worked like a charm. Joshua and Andrew are my 2 favorite dealers. Maybe not always the cheapest, but the after sales service is second to none.
