Well, I think that scaring the OP away from a Speedy because of the dial spacing is a bit over the top. It's a significant flaw, but unless someone is taking a close look at it, who really cares? The OP says he's looking for a cheap rep Speedy to start his collection. He's clearly not as anal about details as many others are. I got my Silver Snoopy Speedy this week and can't take it off! It's a great rep, flaws and all...............

I did not... Like I said, the watch is perfectly fine, so I chose not to make a big deal out of it. Just wanted to make sure my fellow members keep their eyes open for similar situations.

I had a difficult time deciding whether or not to post this, but in the end I found myself becoming more annoyed and feel it's worth at least informing my fellow members of the issue. First off - Let me say that I am not complaining about the quality of the watch involved and am very happy with it. But........ On to the story....... I jumped on a U-Boat Bronze Chimera as soon as it was released. Transaction went very smoothly with one of our most reputable TD's. Received the QC Pics in a couple of days and happily approved them. Yesterday I received the shipment and the watch, while stunning and perfectly acceptable, is NOT the watch in the QC photos I approved. Below are the QC photo along with my photo, showing the S/N plate on the watch. QC photo shows 004/300. Watch I received is 106/300. Maybe a simple mistake, but the term "trusted dealer" implies better performance. If the watch had arrived with some significant issue, this would be much more than the slight annoyance that is is for me. Anyway...... Just something to watch out for when ordering in the future. Keep a keen eye on things guys.

Fortunately, the RWI guys are always eager to intervene on one's behalf in these cases. That seller can't possibly be as clueless as he claims to be, but how could he think he wasn't going to be called out in this case?
