  1. Beautiful Piece, wear it in good health brother!
  2. Good find man, I doubt the bracelet being wrapped though. Reads plated in the description also doesn't look wrapped to me..
  3. Looks stunning! [emoji7]
  4. Welcome mate! You'll enjoy it here!
  5. Aw nice. The ST case accepts the Yuki. Oh okay.. Bracelet appears to be in really good condition.. I've seen WM9 bracelets screw up fairly fast..
  6. You're totally right with all the above! Loving your TT, how has the gold on the bracelet held up? Or were the TW ones solid gold? I can't remember really lol
  7. Same man. If one offered me a gen 16613 (in this case) for my build, I'd thankfully decline the offer. This one is one of my baby's and it's staying in the family now..
  8. I'd have some more to come but I was still tired as hell this morning when I took my Bluesey-pics! Lol. Got a similar Yachtmaster 16622 build round here and a 5512 build incoming!
  9. Yeah, I agree. The dial is worth way more (probs atleast double) than I paid for it. The whole build turned out to be in a decent price class.. I didn't add up parts I scrapped to those 4.5k though.
  10. I've been at this point, went only gen watches and then came back to building. It's more fun to me than just owning the watch. To me it's about sourcing the parts, handpicking the parts that mate up together best and grow a bigger connection to the piece. It adds history to a watch imo..
  11. Loving yours! Yeah, I'll approach this one soon. Will also give the case a little tear to have a few scratches and stuff to be better looking for it's 'age'. The dial is probs the best part of the whole build, it's a mint 10/10 Singer 16613 dial. (one of very very few) (big $$$)
  12. Beautiful piece man, wear it in good health!
  13. Idk [censored] about vintage pieces and what which technique gives it.. I've been in the pre ceramic timeframe until now.. So excuse my noobiness in this lol
  14. Lol, are there people wanting their watches to look like they were worn and torn during 4 world wars?
  15. Thought I'd share some pics and specs of my latest (second) TT build. As I've sold my old one which I regret badly. Specs: TC v6 case set (drilled lugs) Gen dial Gen hands Gen insert Gen datedisc Gen crystal Gen clasp Gen crown Yuki3135 (gen cal3135 to come!) ST 18k bezelring ST 18k EndLinks ST 18k bracelet
  16. Yeah, that's what I thought. I've heard different opinions on this though. I thought I'd ask before screwing anything big up lol.
  17. After a long time being a lurker on here, I thought I'd start off getting more active on RWG too.. I've spent the last 1,5 years on RWI (QueTip, you might know me from there ) Throwing in a massive HEY to all RWG peeps! If you don't know me, I'm a Rolex guy to death.. Hehe.. That's basically all you need to know about me as this sums me up quite good.
  18. Hey, considering I'm TOTALLY new to vintage builds, I'll start off with this, I've done a lot of reading and stuff but I couldn't find any answers to this.. If you're wanting to give your 'white' dial a nice patina and nice vintage look to it by baking, can you put the whole watch in the oven with the case or does it HAVE to be dial and hands only? I mean this way, I could do it myself without having to send it out to my WS as I don't have the tools and patience to remove hands and dials.. Hope somone of yous can help me!
  19. No one who can help me?
  20. Louboutin, Balmain and YSL all male. Pants for Balmain and YSLand Hermes and LV eventually,
