  18. Hi everyone, Many of you may have seen my post on the Yuki rivet bracelet elast links and how they were never gen like. Well, necessity is the mother of invention so I tried to figure out how to make it look more gen. I didn't want to take a chance of ruining the bracelet by grinding off the last links or taking apart the rivets - so I thought maybe a nice cover up. I had pieces and parts from leftover bracelets so I took two folded links and set out for the remodel. Below are some images. I basically just ground/sanded the folded links so they fit. ~B This was the original issue with the last link at the endlink. Two tube figure-eight style that were never gen in the wild. Donor folded end link from the bin. Starting to fold the end link. Finishing a more "snug" wrap in the vice. "Solid" last link on a 580, ready for the 5512. Mounted. Needs final brushing and cleanup...viola'
  19. I've been told that this type of last link was used on gen rivets for a VERY Brief time, but have been unable to find any corroboration. I've also read that this is a "tell" on a rep. Any one have anything definitive to put this to rest? I love this bracelet, but if it's a definite 'tell" on a rep i guess I won't use it... Thanks for your feedback and comments! Bob
