  1. I recently got a Pepsi 16710 and like everything about it, except that it came with a holo link bracelet that just felt weak and pathetic so swapped it for a jubilee that I've had for ages. The other thing that is really bothering me, and I would like to to know if I'm stressing about nothing, but to me the CGs look wrong. So I took pics to post here and to compare to others but when I look at the pics the CGs look fine. Am I losing my mind? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. That would have been a good idea! Next time. I'm back home in Sydney now but will surely go back in the near future. I'm going to open my watches tonight and have a look at what's inside.. Not expecting much. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The fam and I are still stuck in beautiful Bali so I got myself a good book.. After a quick look I've got 2 new watches to add to my wish list: Milgauss 6541: And Paul Newman 6263: Anybody with a good source for accurate versions of these beauts please let me know. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yep nothing too discreet about these shops.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. ^Yea I'm not sure how they decide on price.. The explorer ii is by far the better watch of the 2 in this case. The construction and accuracy is far more solid. Also the rotor in the sub is a little loud.. All in all not bad for under $200 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Another thing about these watches is they both have the glide lock clasp which I've never had before.. Both work really really well. Great feature Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm in Bali with the fam at the moment , and have bought reps here in the past but only super duper crap ones from sellers on the streets and in the little shops. But now that I know a lot more than I used to about reps, and own a couple of beauts, I did a little looking to see if there might be somewhere to buy better quality ones whilst here.. Low and behold there is actually a chain of shops in Kuta called " Bagus Watch" and another called " Euro Watch" (actually both the same but with different names). There are 3 of these shops all very close together so of course I went to all of them.. More than once. I wasn't expecting much from these shops but was pleasantly surprised both by quality and range. They stock Rolex, Panari, Tag, Hublot, Omega, Patek etc.. My interest is in Rolex only so didn't look to hard at anything else. I must have looked like a real nerd when I was there because every watch I picked up I took of its little pillow, pulled the crown out, checked the hands, date/Gmt functionality and put each watch up to my ear whilst I wound the movement.. Much to the frustration of the worker who would straighten and polish each watch I touched. Haha I tried to take pics in the shops but in each was quickly stopped.. The average price for the watches I was looking at was $90-98 Australian dollars. I demonstrated great restraint and only bought 2 but we are now stuck in Bali because Mt.Rinjani has been actively disrupting flights for the last 2 weeks.. Hopefully we can leave soon because I have a nice 16710 Pepsi waiting for me from Connie at KingWatch. Now some pics: There are plenty of bad/wrong things about these watches but I was happy to be able to shop for reps in a real shop. The novelty alone was worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Awesome! Folded link bracelet is the only thing I would struggle with personally. Apart from that it's a beaut!! On my list for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I chose the second one because of availability and also from the looking around I did at gens I felt the 2nd one looked a bit better and more gen like for the model/year . Crown on dial and also cgs etc.. But now I'm freaking about receiving a wok! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ok I see.. I only have qc pics and from what I can see from them there is no real sign of 'wokkyness'. I know that I can't post the qc's here so will have to wait to receive the watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Can you explain what this means please? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Hey guys I've been looking at two 16710s at KingWatch and I think that they both look pretty good and close to gen in appearance but I'm not sure/familiar when it comes to the Swiss 3186 mvt.. Any advice as to which is closer to gen in appearance ( I have done my research) but any input would would be appreciated This is the 3186: This is the 2836-2: Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. Love the 7016. I have a gen Tudor BB but have always liked the real vintage Tudors. Can you tell me where you got such a good rep of it from? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hello all, not sure if this is the right place for this question but I am wondering if this crown is right and if not what would be the right size one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I bought this from king watch a while back and love it. Has been a daily wear for the last 6 months but the crown has been bothering me.. Feel like it might be too big for the 'vintage' but not sure. Any input would be appreciated. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. If you ever wanna part with the 7016 I'm just up the road in newtown.. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
