After trying to get the Swiss UPO from multiple dealers and always having SOMETHING go wrong, I was starting to think I'd never get one of these..... this is a uPO lite got it from a member on RWI.....we will see if i decide to get a Swiss UPO. But so far loving it! *on a side note, anyone got 1 extra link or even the 1/2 link would work. the watch is ever so slightly tight on me.

if its a pin..... id think you can sort of flatten one end so it "holds" better. at least thats what the macgyver in me would do.... ill let the omega experts chime in

Im finding that i LOVE my submariner. now that its away to The Zigmeister for service. i keep looking at my other 8 watches and have a hardtime picking out one. the Sub is the "go to" watch. I'd buy a gen of that if I ever buy a gen.

I once painted the bed of my Pickup truck with some roll on bedliner without gloves.... My hands had black spots for weeks. LOL..... I suggest getting some Nytrile Gloves, you can get them at walmart, they are disposable great for when using chemicals...

after doing all of these mods...what kind of total cost are u looking at for a uPO rep? must be getting into the 1k rep price range =/

i would love to build a franken date just....but the cases are too small for me. i'm so used to 40mm+ watches the 38's seem so small =(

if its not winding properly...maybe you should send it to The Zigmeister for a full service! LOL

@ TWP - it prob took me about 1.5 hours...i had to take off and realign the date wheel like 4 times.. the 1st time the 1st few dates were ok, but the rest were way off lol. @ everyone else - thanks for the support!!

i was scared pulling the hands that i wouldnt be able to put them back on..... then i was scared id totally screw up and glue the datewheel to the movement or something lol.

because that would be an even bigger issue. lol

I'm so stoked.... I bought a YM from WBK on rwi and the date font was bold......i HATED that, only wore the watch once on a day where the font was decent.... today I thought what the hell, lets try changing the date wheel with one from an old noobmariner..... I DID IT WITHOUT BREAKING THE WATCH!!!! Sorry to those who think its not a big deal....I'm just happy with this watch now. lol here is a pic...

I think that watch is cursed..... (not that individual sellers) but i've been trying to get a UPO for a while now..... 2 diff dealers havent gotten back to me about it. 1 said they had it in stock, but when i ask him about it there are other things going on that prevent shipping..... and the other said he would have one for me last week....hasnt replied since....... =( someone posted one for sale the other day in forsale..and after i pm'd him for it...he deleted the thread (guess he changed his mind) I just want a Orange uPO for ~250.00 is that so hard? lol stupid eta shortage "raising prices"

so i just noticed today that my GMT hand on my Explorer II isnt moving very much....it moves then stops.....the other hands move fine and keeps great time...... i'm bummed. I wonder if its fixable?

thanks.... have you tried GS Hypo cement? it seems to be the go to glue for watch repairs...idk

can i ask where you got the dial? i would LOVE to turn my old ETA sub into a military Tudor Sub with snow flake hands
