  1. I just bought another 5. Go for it.
  2. The stock watch/bracelet combo comes to 7.5 inches. I need to be able to get the bracelet to 8.5 inches to be comfortable on me. Would anyone who has received their watch already and has resized the bracelet down be prepared to sell/donate the spare extra links to me please? If you want, I'll pay (Paypal) a small amount per link and cover your postage to the UK. There would be no customs risk on a bracelet link and the actual postage rates should be no more than normal airmail letter cost. If someone could measure their links and tell me how many I need to get the extra inch I'd appreciate it. And PM me if you've got a link you can spare. I really want this watch, but without extra links there's no point me buying one! Thanks.
  3. Bah. Idiots that mess it up for others.
  4. Not including the watch, or including? I need total circumference
  5. I've asked in three places now but been ignored. PLEASE can someone who has received their IWC Ingenieur measure circumference of the bracelet/watch combined. I need to know whether it's going to fit me before I buy. Asking dealers doesn't work. I always ask the question and am always told that supplied bracelets are big enough to fit, three times I've been told and three times I've been disappointed and had to go back asking for extra links. I want to know the exact size as it comes. Thanks.

Can someone who's got this measure the circumference of the bracelet/watch out of the box please. I need to know the size.
  7. Can someone measure the bracelet out of the box please (well I guess the bracelet plus the watch, what's the total circumference?) I want this, but only if it's going to fit me.
  8. No popcorn but ....... Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar. Tuscany fried bats. Larks' tongues. Otters' noses. Ocelot spleens.
  9. Nope, and it looks like I'm not the only one.....
  10. Totally the opposite to mine, mine was graunched and the sticky out bits were flush with the clasp, the clicky lock bit didn't click or lock at all. I'm wearing mine on a bond nato while waiting for a replacement.
  11. I didn't get email confirmation of my ticket, I got the paypal receipt but nothing else. I thought that I should. And no, it's not been flagged as spam!
  12. I read it. They do believe in repeating themselves over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again
  13. Methinks Neil is mixing up width and diameter. Winding a 2mm diameter crown would be interestingly difficult!
  14. I've had a bit of abuse back in the past from people I've contacted to tell them they're bidding on fakes. Most are appreciative of the note but some can be very abusive.
  15. It's bound to be repeated on bbc twenty seven or one of those, anyone know when?
  16. Talking 45mm. I actually think it's the 6th gen, but I've never heard anyone call it that yet. 4th was the version which had the incorrect logo placement. 5th was the version which I think only Neil sold with correct logo placement but still with 20mm lugs. I think this is better than the one below. 6th is the one everyone seems to have now with the correct lugs but with too large logo and other issues. Is this right?
  17. Yes, that does work. Isn't the strap on the wrong way though?
  18. How cool, I never knew and I bet a lot of people didn't either.
  19. Seen that before, spent a long time reading it. It's quite an incredible project. I don't like the design of the watch though, I really think it looks awful!
  20. It's exactly the same one as By-Tor reviewed here - http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=9437 I got mine from Joshua.
  21. OMG, it's gorgeous. It arrived when I was away on business yesterday but a neighbour signed for the package, I got it a while ago and it's absolutely beautiful. I've gone for the blue dial version and once I peeled the plastic cover off from the front the dial really shone out, I can't stop looking at it, the blue dial is just electric! I've got a couple of issues with the bracelet and the clasp which I'm hoping can be sorted quickly but the watch itself is immaculate, best rep I've had out of the box.
  22. I'd love a good rep of this watch.
