 But is it me, or do I just see Bell & Ross watches everywhere in the panel??
-
Well, Toady. I'll be the first to encourage Pugwash to wear his nice Silix PAMs, but perhaps not on the first day. We want him to exude professionalism on the first day, not 'tude. His co-workers will get to know that soon enough.

That's a good site. I have another, but let me search for it first. In the meantime, here are two similar threads on this very topic, Teddy Boy. It seems the general consensus was an Omega SMP. That would be mine too, if you didn't have it already. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&...ost&p=93894 http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&...st&p=306106 EDIT: Found the site which my mother used for a few gen purchases this year. Jacobtime.com For example: Tag Heuer Aquaracer Automatic Chronograph Mens Watch CAF2112.BA0809 Retail Price: $2,495.00 Save 25% $623.75 Jacobtime.com Price: $1,871.25 http://www.jacobtime.com/osc/product_info....roducts_id=2106 Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Mens Watch 2909.50.91 Retail Price: $3,200.00 Save 33% $1,056.00 Jacobtime.com Price: $2,144.00 http://www.jacobtime.com/osc/product_info....roducts_id=3283 Both over your asking price, but at least it's a good reference.

First, about your standup routine. Second, if TWP doesn't sell them, I know that Angus (Pure Time) does. Both strap and buckle were USD95 some months ago. I never got one! Gorgeous combo, TWP. Agree.
-
Don't worry I was wearing a lumberjack shirt underneath my woolie! (Freddy, give up! I have a wide selection of watches. I'm teasing you of course, but at some point you have to know I love my big a8ss watches as much as my daintier ones. I wear both happily -- haven't you been seeing my newest, smaller Cartiers and Rolexes?)

Returning on 28th October, after almost a month's absence, but it's never too early to welcome back everyone's favourite rep-wearing soldier. Here he is showing his camping chamberpot.

The race is heating up! We have two days to vote, and it would be interesting to see if Pugster keeps to the one voted.

I'll out myself and say I have a family member by marriage who died in the 9/11 attacks. But just as if someone were to say something nasty about Jesus Christ, or Christians in general, I'd find that horribly offensive too, and I'd fall on them like a tonne of bricks publicly. Far more than TeeJay's innocuous comments, which in effect, I agreed with. I am a fellow sufferer, Hambone, so please excuse me for saying what I did. I would hug you now if I could, because I am not without disgust in my heart. But perhaps it's wiser to keep these things to ourselves on a rep watch forum.

TWP, DSN had several threads of complaints when you were on holiday. I mentioned that this might have a positive effect on your business. And with this 113, wow, even I am tempted to order one. I was thinking of getting a DSN 114, and if you can get me a crown like that, I'll hug you.

You're hot. Welcome to RWG.

I agree. They're tack-yyy. No sweetheart. I meant it as a general comment.
-
Arty, I'm so very sorry. When I say I will keep her in my prayers tonight, I am not one of those that just say that. I mean it. Stay strong, baby...

Saw it last night, when I was searching for who sang the Top Gun theme song (Kenny Loggins, it was, duh). And BTW, yet another reason why an ex-Blockbuster shopclerk like Tarantino, who acts like a two-year old on a sugar rush, is one of the most overrated directors in the world. Except for Reservoir Dogs, that is.

Hmm, I actually took three flying lessons before I quit. Too expensive... Speaking of Iceman. *g* Oh oh. So only the rich Eurosnobs can freak out on IWCs?? No, sir! IWC for NASCAR all the way!

I said it above, and repeatedly since seeing this photo, but this was the single-reason I bought the Air-King. Goes to show how much of an influence we have on each other. Thanks, Chrgod. Now, could I just ask if a watchsmith would have trouble switching movements so that I can keep the nicer, older dial on the other newer watch? The first was DOA. @Stilty: AWESOME. Thanks so much too. That's a good visual to go by.

Abortion of a watch is the exact phrase I used originally! Then, speaking of polarising, I decided to go with miscarriage as less controversial. I'm afraid I agree. Whilst the watches posted by our collector friends (PHOTOSHOPPED!!) have a modicum of better styling than the Captain Nemo watch I posted -- sorry V, can't see the attraction -- they are still...how can I say? Just OTT. Over the top.

Ahh, well you are an IT specialist. This is almost wedding-formal for such professionals. UPO on SS bracelet, without doubt. Alternatively, the Tag as a nice change of pace. It's almost like a Rolex in notoriety, and not quite as overwhelming and macho-looking as an Omega PO.
-
That is a great shot of a fantastic watch, SD! And if I were you, I'd hyperlink to the review, so others can easily click on it. I'm guessing if the Wristies were not posted until midnight CET in Europe...people were busy or lazy today, so they need all the help they can get!

Ah, too right. Actually, no. I'll give them that. They were Chelscum supporters even in the lean years. I myself used to accompany them to matches in the now defunct Terrace. Because Beckham is Hollywoodesque. I predicted this move in 2000. It came to pass, because those two are the most UNENGLISH people I have ever seen come out of our land. They're almost Princess Diana-esque in their media savviness, and modern catwalk attraction. You won't see a Beckenbauer or God forbid, Pel

HAH! Emmzy, last I heard, Teddy has taken his manager exams (or whatever that is called), and said he wanted to finish out his career as a manager of a football club, strongly intimating it would be Tottenham.

First, CONGRATS PUGWASH. Please tell me this doesn't mean you'll have (ultimately) less time for the rep forums...in the beginning, okay. But try to squeeze RWG in, at least. Secondly, yes, usually I would say go with a gen. But I chose the UPO on the SS bracelet since next to the SFSO, it's the best looking, most accurate rep you got. Knowing your suit colour AND TIE would definitely help, though.

I thought about it, and I'm keeping this watch on Friday night.

My dad was discharged from hospital this afternoon. He's far from well...but at least he's home. Thanks for your thoughts, and prayers. FRIDAY Now, having outted myself as a Boston Red Sox fan (Sox in 5!) during the ALCS race, I thought, well, in for a penny in for a pound. Guess which soccer club I support in my native land? A close-up of the new Rolex Air-King I received from Silix. NICE. In another thread here, we're having that age-old discussion on who was THE BEST Footballer ever. Have a guess about my choice. Old, faded, and worn -- you could offer me ONE MILLION dollars and nothing would make me sell it. SATURDAY Rain, rain. Hate the $*(#* rain, because I can't go around South Florida as usual. Such a shame -- look how pretty it is! DSN Fiddy on Manifatture Firenze Black Calf strap at the famous Dade County Courthouse in downtown Miami (where Al Capone stayed in a special holding cell). Or how about a real old-fashioned moviepalace, the Olympia? Look at that vintage Moroccan-style box office! Even our "subway" (the elevated Metrorail) is cute! Whew, afterwards you gotta sit down and relax, and have a cup of Joe with your favourite LV bag, right fellas? SUNDAY Enough talk. Just rep watch. PAM 210 from TWP on a slick Kaktus Black calf strap. Kaktus straps from Geneva are not worth the money, IMHO. Enjoy the long view! And your weekends.

It's Frahnkensteen. Oh God, that was an awesome reference. I'll be laughing thinking about both quips all day.

That looks like a bloody hole punch, Narikaa. Ugly enough, here in South Beach I have rarely seen a Panerai, but frequently (well, okay 5 times or so) have seen Grahams. There are some watches that are worn by men for the sake of fashion. I grant you, Panerai can be considered one. But Grahams ARE DEFINITELY the worst part of that trend. Strange, but I appreciate an enormous Breitling, can tolerate a Bell & Ross, a Chopard Mille Miglia is passable (did you check out Silix' price? Wow), but the Graham Chrono...no can do, I'm afraid.
