  1. Look how happy he is to be arrested. "DUDE I TOTALLY ROCK! I'M IN DA BIG HOUSE!". Strike a pose! Timex? One almost hopes...
  2. Me too. I can imagine the scene. Beautiful blonde approaches 5 young guys, asking for the time. 4 start fumbling in their pockets for their mobiles, whilst one Cary Grant debonaire type (Bravoz) coolly, but with amazing machoness, extends his arm, flips his wrist, and with a twinkle in his eyes, tells her the time. As she leaves, she looks back, he looks up, their eyes lock, and they know. They know. The other guys all left their Fossil watches behind.
  3. Ooh, I dunno, Stephane. Even if you are given the go-ahead, is that wise? Maybe that person will take it vindictively against others who he may have dealings. My eBay ID is not the same as my forum ID, but maybe others' are. There is one member I saw selling Panerai straps only yesterday, and I smiled when I saw his ID.
  4. Whatever happened to telling the Truth to Power? Or in this case, when the Power-Watchdogs invent the Truth? This is what: The Ridiculous 9. Associated Press (AP) (2005). Fell for hoax and phony photo. The AP ran a story, with a photo, about a soldier held hostage in Iraq. The photo turned out to be that of an action figure doll; there was no such soldier. The Sublime 71. Rigoberta Menchu, author of I, Rigoberta (1983), Nobel Peace Prize winner (1992). Lying/fabricating. She claimed her autobiographical book "is the story of all poor Guatemalans. My personal experience is the reality of a whole people." However, "Mench
  5. It shares the orange blossom colour of the UM Hurricanes, so yay! No worries for me.
  6. Hideous. Sorry guys. EDIT: Tag Heuer Official site: "For maintenance reasons this page is temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your understanding." EDIT #2: From "TheWatchery.com": EDIT #3: Still can't find the TT, but in Montres-Luxe I found THIS beauty (sorry to thread-crap, By-Tor!): Aquaracer Calibre S Regatta de Tag Heuer ...love to get it for my boyfriend!
  7. Wow, seriously? No offence, Deepsea, but the ones I've seen on TZ, Risti, and the like DO NOT compare to the ones we have on the rep forums. By-Tor, Pugwash, Jiro -- these are living legends of the photographic rep world. There are many many others who do a fantastic job, including two collectors like TWP, as one example. What the rest of us lack in technical know-how and professional cameras, we make up with enthusiasm and inventiveness. Look at that horse farm shot of the PAM 005 by UB7 in the Wrist-Check today!
  8. You're photosensitive, and it's not as uncommon as you might think. The late Queen of Italy, Marie-Jos
  9. I am the first to give you praise, because your straps are AWESOME! But this ain't workin' for me, Slai baby. I find it's a bit like a beautiful black suit on a chap; you look down, and he's wearing brown shoes. Sorry.
  10. Thank you TEEJAY! After Thursday, I'm allowed to go out as normally (I am still on antibiotics that require no direct sunlight), so I have LOADS of things to post including Me So Horny. Will let you know! I love it. I bought it second-hand on Risti, because I refuse to buy from Strapcode/Taikonaut directly. Long story. I caught them cheating. But I've longed for a pure white strap since I got the Pink Croc abomination. And guess what? The Roo looks awesome on black-dialed PAMs too! Give away the E-B SMP?? Darling you're too generous... Hello, how big do you think my legs are?? Obviously, the left leg is covered by my arm.
  11. In the past two weeks, I've only bought Rolexes and Cartiers up the wazoo. Just call me Stephanie! Thanks for the kind words, TMG. You're so sweet!
  12. I'm BAAAAAAACK TO THE WRISTIES! These are live shots, just one hour old, after my enforced two-week stay in bed. If you want to know what the problem was, click here (not for those digesting). My hands and fingers are still recouping, seen here peeling. Sigh. But I can see light at the end of the rep watch tunnel, so I'm happy! MONDAY By-Tor has one. Stephane has one. Raymond has a beautiful gen. And now I have one too! Ladies and gentlemen, the Rolex GMT II with upgraded black/red bezel from RWI member, Cschenone. Yay! I upgraded with a new Jubilee bracelet via RWI member, Rep-Craze. Looks mint. The Wristie! The Restie! ...just chillaxing in the pool on a raft, like I hope you all did this Columbus Day/Canadian Thanksgiving. TUESDAY From Turkeys we go to Kangaroos. Here's my beloved Andrew PAM 113 on its new Taikonaut white Kangaroo strap. The Wristie. Not too shabby. Tie me kangaroo down, sport! Tie me can kangaroo down! Me by the pool, wearing my Havaianas from J. Crew. YAY! How lovely to see the sun again. I learnt one thing during this time -- I could never be a hermit living in a cave, that's for sure. Wonder how Osama does it. ...great Wrist-Shots today, guys! Congrats to all.
  13. Yes, but I would just like to be her friend.
  14. "In modern business it is not the crook who is to be feared most, it is the honest man who doesn't know what he is doing." -- William Wordsworth
  15. If you can find a woman just like me, with everything I bring to the table, anywhere in this world, Freddy, I'd be interested in meeting her.
  16. I started this watch kick about 2 weeks before joining RWG1, simultaneously joining RWG2 a few hours later. I used his login for a few days before doing so. It was he who decided that I should check out the forums for info, since I was THIS close to buying a crap rep from Globalreplicas (actually forking out almost 800 dollars for an "Italian" movement...). But he is not at all interested in watches. He comes to check my Wrist-Checks and that's pretty much it. He is a VIP though.
  17. Unless he has two, and it's possible PM him, that's the one coming to me.
  18. I would post a photo of my palms, save for the fact that they're now quite horrid, and I fear the RWG palmists who could tell me I am going to croak at 53. Weirdly, my left palm is more wrinkled than the right, though I am right-handed...I hate Cape Cod cloths!!
  19. There's a saying in Spanish. "Just because my house isn't clean, doesn't mean you're not dirty." I don't think there are many clean hands in business, anywhere. Or you can go to the public library, and read their copy there. I certainly will do that, and thanks for the heads up -- both of you!
  20. Ditto, JJ -- thanks Jiro!!
  21. You'll need your balaclava going up the Dolomites again. Check the date. 13 June. I joined a few days later, and that was one of the first threads my boyfriend pointed out: "Do you wear your watch during Sex?". I knew I had found my home.

    Snow!

Yipes. Vladivostok sounds like Stoke-on-Trent, only with less alcoholism, obviously. Am I to understand you are trothed to Nanuq? Just between you and me, Miss Understood, he'll never love you like unless you're beaten up old thing of over 50 years old. And clearly, you're not a hair over 29.

    Snow!

Alongside the Charge of the Light Brigade, New Coke, and allowing Teresa Heinz Kerry to open her mouth in public, yes.

Miss Understood, you are SO missed. Come back!! Pleasssssssse. One wonders what you do when you're not on RWG. Do you watch Oprah? Do you laugh at Dancing with the Stars? Do you give the lovelorn librarians at your local branch some sage advice about Listerine and some lipstick? Well, aren't I the nosey parker. Oh, I did apply for your job vacancy as Miss Take, but my heart was never really in it. You're the best!

    Snow!

NANUQ! You are mad, bad and dangerous to know! It's 28F out there!! You'll catch your death, your toes will get frostbite, your Rollie will freeze over, and your kno.b will drop off! Nice shot though. My God, you're a real Man.
