  1. A couple tributes. http://www.tributewtc.org/index.php http://www.nyc.gov/html/fdny/media/tribute/tribute.html
  2. It turned out great - something to be proud of. The dial looks good to me.
  3. Lello, I picked one up already so you can count me out. Of course if this effects you financially, I'll buy it any way. Thanks for your efforts. -Chief
  4. Wow, what a great day, LR!! Fill out your N-600 if you haven't already! (Link) I'll tip a glass to you this evening at dinner for sure, my friend.
  5. An article from Michael Reagan, "Welcome Back, Dad" where he says a female Ronald Reagan : http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/...e_back_dad.html
  6. That's it right there. It was just . . . genuine. Truly remarkable. And news early this morning indicated that the latter half of the speech was delivered without the teleprompter. Apparently the teleprompter operator let the speech continue rolling during applauses and before long the "next" lines had scrolled off completely... So she went off memory and off notes in front of her with nary a hesitation! Now this in and of itself is very impressive considering the magnitude of the situation and the captive nationwide audience for her first ever national address, but when you compound that with all the viciously personal attacks from the left and the onslaught from the "unbiased" media that she had sustained in advance of being able to actually present herself to the American people.... what she did last night is really put into perspective. Simply wow. I am a fan.
  7. Sarah Palin. Winner. WOW were you ever right about her!
  8. The end links of the bracelet were soldered to the case? Pics?
  9. Whoa, $500. That is steep!
  10. You needn't tell me.
  11. Yep. It just ended today, actually. And considering that the price of a generic 7750 + Lello DW is as much or more than the closing price of this auction.... I have to consider it a great deal for a gen Breitling movement and date wheel.
  12. And far less important than an elected official (or any Joe Blow) lying under oath.
  13. Right, it was not being implied. It was being explicitly put forth by extremists without having the benefit of facts about the disability. But what *is* now being implied by these same desperate people is that because Palin only announced after giving birth that her child had Down's Syndrome, she in fact never really knew in advance.
  14. Another project coming together...
  15. No one can claim a perfectly lived life except messiahs. Proof of one's principles are not shown when the sailing is smooth, but when storms arrive.
  16. What you don't know is that her opposition is trying smear her by saying it was her own irresponsibility that *caused* her baby to be born with Down's Syndrome, which [of course] isn't supported anywhere in the literature for Down's babies. Your flow chart is an attempt to perpetuate this rubbish. Clearly you don't support the ticket. The irony, though, is that each time the McCain/Palin detractors further propagate garbage that goes after her parenting or her disabled infant son, they're merely helping make an easy decision for tens of thousands of undecided independent soccer moms to cast their ballots for the ticket. And with up to 20% of undecided independents falling into that category, they might as well just be hitting the campaign trail for the candidates they're trying to smear.
  17. Welcome aboard, Virt!! Don't be a stranger.
  18. So, just curious, if posting a flow chart of Sarah Palin's vaginal muscles and a video of Bill Maher disparaging her infant son isn't despicable and beneath you, then what is?
  19. Too much force for this situation (based on the current information at hand), in my opinion. This is something a group of uniformed officers can handle. SWAT is for hostage situations and other high risk encounters. And let me stress, the information currently available is very limited and very biased. It would be enlightening and interesting, for example, to see the affidavits used to get the warrants (if any).
  20. I notice the author got his digs in against the Republicans at the end, and doesn't seem to know the difference between 'semi-automatic' and 'automatic'. Good. It's time to reign in these thugs. We give them SWAT teams and expensive military toys, yet they still can't make a dent in gang crime? Oh and BTW, at Kent State the governor had to call in the National Guard to quell a riot. There really aren't any parallels between that and this SWAT madness.
  21. You need to learn more about the sources you quote to understand the comment, then.
  22. People vote for the top of the ticket. The bottom half mostly functions to validate the top with the party's base. Both VP's do this. Any other value conferred is dubious at best.
  23. Funny (?) how we never heard a peep from the liberals when Janet Reno was the perpetrator of police state tactics. But now that they're on the receiving end, it's an issue.
  24. Praise be to god!
