Already removed DWO and parts, and I don't use spacer. But there is too much stress on stem to insert it. If sometime I can insert stem, the keyless is dislocated.
I will use another movement, but don't have funds to buy a good ETA 28xx for the moment.
Hopefully I can wear my lovely 5500 Explorer [emoji6]

I tried ETA 2788 & 2789, but the stem is not aligned and I can't insert it in movement. Can you tell me how do you achieve stem alignment on this build ?

For my part, I don't like these new hands. Hours and minutes are not flat, and I think minutes is too large. The only positive, to my none experts eyes, is the seconds hand point.

Hours from left to right : Silix, HR 2015, new HR 2016.

Seconds : Tiger Concept, HR 2015, new HR 2016.

Yes modding members watch can be tricky. Especially for a beginner like me. No place to error.
Just finished a 6538 for a friend. Lug chamfers, drill and tap for Athaya crown, and this nice 6538 dial.
I was afraid to make a big mistake I could not repair.
For all the members asking for dials, I will do some sooner or later. Don't pm me for the moment. The community will know when I'm ready.
I want to complete my projects first. 6610, 1675 And this last 6538 make me want to make a better one for me. My first 6538 made in February is poor compared to this one. I can't bear this friend to have a nicer dial than me
Also I have to experiment a little more. And last, I need to achieve good lume mix. Didn't have problems for my first 6538 and 5513 dials. But now I not satisfied with the result. I don't know why because my recipe is the same. My lume is very thick and very hard to apply. It's a nightmare on Explorers numbers...
@hologramet and I have to make your 5513 dial as promised

I'm not an expert but I think Riyi rivet is very nice for the price. 35$ shipped. And contact with him is very good too.
For this build, I asked him a vintage 19mm rivet 7205 bracelet for a Rolex 5500 watch. He reply with this pic :
Just ordered a 20mm today.
