I am about done with reps too. I have a few gens but none were PAMs. Ever since I got a couple of PAMs, my attention has been focused on PAMs and nothing else. The thing about reps is problems, about half of them had been giving me problems. Too much headaches taking care of them. I am so addicted to PAMs reps that I hate the fact that they are not up to standard. Well, at least I got to try on a few PAMs for a while before deciding which gen to get. So off I went and splurged a huge amount on a monster panerai. Receiving that special edition box with the watch in it was amazing and literally swept me off my feet. The thrill of receiving a gen PAM is nothing compared to receiving a rep. The feeling of knowing the type of movement calibre in the gen is effin' overwhelming. I will still buy reps, only swiss tho and if I really like it that much, I'll prob get a gen.

Ken, I realised that there is a long trail of history between Elliot and the members here and by no means, I am trying to probe into the matter any further as we have done this many times already. Far too many times. I am simply trying to justify the accusation of calling someone "POS".

For your information, watcher71, I have NEVER bought a strap from Elliot. I am hardly into straps, I go for watches. Elliot = POS? Care to elaborate on your personal experience as to why he is POS? It is easy to jump on the bandwagon to join the pom pom party but if you have a bad experience to base your assumptions on, then fair enough. Post your own experience rather than raking on what others have said. p/s As to where & when did Elliot apologise? Since you are so keen on bringing up past (Mar) threads, I don't supposed you could do some investigative work and find out for yourself?

All these hatred never ends. We always hope that things will get resolved when someone who is willing to forgo his ego and confess to their mistake.... never seemed that easy, eh? If only the world is that simple. Elliot has apologised. Takes a man to do that. Much respect to him. With all the trashing around and personal remarks flying across the board against Elliot, I would have done the same thing if I were him... maybe more.

I merely took a huge risk and jumped right into it. I was lucky I guess. My number is 26. The watch feels heavy, doesn't it? Oh... and stop staring at the damn watch and tell me what time it is already!!

Yup, contacted dealer. He said he will look into it. I trust that he will as he is a trusted dealer here. I guess I have to be patient and see how it goes.

Well, it has been 25 days and I have yet to receive mine from Taiwan. It seems really weird as it never took this long..... :S (I'm in Melbourne) Edit: It was shipped exactly 25 days ago.

This is by far the closest LV watch produced. Very very close..... I might just get one for my gal. But my PP24 has been on the way for about 3 weeks.. why the hell it is taking so long, I have no idea. Argh.

Trying to sell a watch/ strap that never existed..... seems like a trend these days.

Can't believe this [censored] really. Someone else not too long ago posted an ad on Paneristi in attempt to sell fake strap to me and the pic he emailed me was from this very forum. This getting out of hand. Seriously, something has to be done. I agree, ban the member if he is ever discovered by the mods.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I have got my 63 and 196 from MBK and they are the best lasting watches among the lot that I have. I got mine from the 3rd floor. We scouted for watches and once we spotted these shops, my bro demanded the peeps to bring out the best there is and from there, we continued to negotiate and examine the watches for hours before getting at least 5 to 6 pams. And so far, all have been running great. Just my experience. Ah well, hope you get better.
