  1. Lol, I know. These were work in progress pictures. The cyclops had to be moved, because it was crooked from the factory. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  2. So I just got some pics from PBDad regarding that MBK 16710 from a while ago. Its done, and on its way back to me. So here is a teaser pic, and more to follow once it gets here. http://img138.imageshack.us/i/imageargz.jpg/'> Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  3. Been wearing this lately http://img441.imageshack.us/i/img20121214073235.jpg/'> Starting to grow on me as I'm waiting for my rollies to come back. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  4. It wasn't working for me before, but everything seems to be back up and running now. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  5. There is no wok on a Jackjo SSD. Not that I've ever noticed anyway. Also, no more than my MBK and TC pieces. Good luck finding one though. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  6. I used to like chronos, because I thought they were cooler because they did more things. I was also anti-rolex. Now almost my entire collection is Rolex, and I have no chronos. I've just found the size, balance, aesthetic to be better. Although, bi-compax chronos are a whole different animal. That's why I'm building a 7032. Also, I've gotten more into building the watch that I want, vs. accuracy. I've come to terms with the fact that I haven't found the perfect watch. However, with a nudge here, and a pinch here, I can get pretty close. Also, I only wear dive watches, and the 7032, when completed, will be the first departure from that in the last 7 or so years. 7. All of the above. Plus its missing a hand. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  8. This atrocity was featured in it. And to think we worry about reps. This isn't zoomed in BTW. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  9. Z, DOXAs are fun...very fun. I have a 1200t Sharkie, and had a wabied up 750t Pro. Extremely cool watches. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  10. We're all waiting for that one. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  11. Loy does good work. Also check out mountapo_merchant on the bay. Him and Loy are pretty much the only game in town for old refurb Seikos. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  12. Take a look at the seaside heights pier. The pier is gone, and the roller coaster is in the ocean. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  13. Central NJ checking in. Not too bad yet, just a tad windy. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  14. Harold is an awesome seller. He is really big in the Seiko community. Do a search for Yobokies. That's his name on WUS, SCWF, etc. He has the photobucket, and then you just email him. Best Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  15. That bracelet and case back was what sold it for me. I would kill for a rivet bracelet with that clasp. Such a cool departure from the typical Rolex clasp. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  16. Saw this over on DWC, and thought I would share. It's a 1665 Single Red prototype that is getting ready to head to auction. Pretty cool piece of history. http://www.hodinkee.com/found-a-prototype-rolex-sea-dweller-complete-single-red-dial Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk 2
  17. Movement Tab on my 1680 snapped yesterday, so while I wait until a new one gets here, bringing a legend out of retirement. The Jackjo SSDv2. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  18. I usually set my cap on a build at 1k. That way, it usually had some resale. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  19. Steps 5 & 6 are the most important. Sold off all but 1 of my gens and now back to frankens. I just find them more enjoyable, plus you can actually put a name and a face to how it got put together. I have one right now at PbDad, and I know he is a real person assembling the parts I scoured for, and not some random guy at Rolex. Plus I feel somewhat special, because my watch really is one of a kind, as opposed to one off the shelf from an ad. <img src='http://www.rwg.cc/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sleep.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk 2
  20. So as I'm sitting here enjoying a nice Founders Stout, I'm thinking maybe my next build will be a Tudor Big Block 9420 Monte Carlo. The question is, this is supposed to be acrylic, but with a 7750. So which case would one use? You can't use a modern Daytona case, as its sapphire, but who does a vintage 7750 case? Any help is appreciated. Thank You Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  21. For me it was when I bought a gen Sinn U2. Wore it like 4 times and not so much. Also any Pam, although I really like them in pictures, they just don't last. I do want a 187 or a 196, but I'm sure it will be up on the sales forum shortly thereafter. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  22. I believe that Envy is one of the Seven Sins. That is a fantastic build, congrats, and wear it well.
  23. I think it's pretty awesome. Did everything fit together during the build? (dial size, movement, etc.) or did Domi need to go medieval on it?
  24. Great to hear, and you have a pm. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
